13 | no rest for the broken
Namjoon was barely regaining consciousness the next day. He was almost completely bandaged and on so many drugs he couldn't feel anything. The police officer in front of him doing nothing but making him for more tense.
"He was shorter than I but not by much, around 5'10?" Namjoon told him trying to recall the events from last night. His nose hurt like crazy after having to get reconstructive surgery but they said it should still look the same. He had two broken ribs, and due to the fact that the stabbings were quick and messy they didn't go deep and puncture an organ. Thankfully since the security guard found him right away, he was able to rush to the hospital before he lost more blood.
"He was strong too, muscular even?" Namjoon told Officer Kim. Jin was writing in his notes flipping back to the encounter Suzu had with Ghostface reading over her description.
'Around 5'10, lean and not that coordinated, skinnier but still strong.'
His physical physique was all Jin had to go off and the descriptions were different. That could mean one of them didn't get a good look. Or that there were two possible Ghostface. He cleared his throat, "Unfortunately we haven't found your phone but I assure you we will help you contact those around you."
Namjoon just nodded, his family came in but he needed to see his friends. He couldn't believe him and Suzu had both been attacked and it made him curious. "Officer Kim?"
"Yes?"
"When Suzu Ramos was attacked... did hurt her more than she lets on?" Namjoon asked thinking about the fact that Suzu left with a hand wound and a couple bruises. Namjoon was attacked like they were out to kill, not just injure. The officer furrowed his brows looking down at him, "Suzu Ramos? Are you acquaintances?"
"Yes," Namjoon answered honestly, "Well we met through her ex boyfriend but an accident happened that made him practically disappear. Suzu and I have gotten close so you can understand why I'm asking about her?"
Jin didn't say anything for a moment. Suzu Ramos and Kim Namjoon Were two out of the four victims (the only to survive) and they knew each other. He quickly jotted that down, "Her injuries were minor compared to yours. And she had a boyfriend who disappeared? What do you mean by that?"
"Well, apparently Mino had been attacked and his parents' sent him home. They never found the attacker since it wasn't reported and Mino hasn't spoken to any of us since," Namjoon said. Jin nodded his head, "What's his full name and where does his family reside?"
"Uh, his name is Choi Mino and they live in Daegu but sir, his family is extremely wealthy and they do anything to avoid the public eye," Namjoon began to explain as if understanding what the officer was saying, "They didn't press charges since it'd be in the press if they did."
"Sounds like great parenting," Jin said with a clear huff in annoyance, "But it doesn't matter. If there's a reason to believe Choi Mino's attack could be connected to the Ghostface attacks then they have no control over the manner. We have a right to speak to them considering it's becoming an act of terrorism. Unfortunately it's out of our jurisdiction so we'll have to receive help from the Daegu task forces. Is there any other information you might know?"
