25 | shift in the air
Things felt different now like there was tension in the air.
He is the first to admit he doesn't understand what the others feel. It's not his fault that he doesn't give a fuck about Yunha's death. Like yeah, it's fucked up but it's not like he was personally affected. If anything she annoyed the hell out of him for dropping Suzu and telling her off. He's only known her for a few weeks and even then when she stopped talking to Suzu there was obviously no reason for him to have to interact with her. So to put it simply, Jungkook just doesn't care.
There was just no reason for him to be worried or even scared. It's not like Ghostface was going to kill him, and Suzu most likely won't die. He doesn't really care about what happens to the others so yeah, he's not really worried. Right now he's just trying to be here for whatever she needs right now and failing at it.
"Jungkook, I don't want to go out right now," Suzu told him sounding irritated. Jungkook has been begging her to go out for drinks all day and even though she's told him no he hasn't stopped. Lately it feels like he's been more attached to her than usual. He's more clingy and demanding, begging for all her attention no matter the situation.
She appreciates him for being new to her life and wanting to be there for her but she just needs a break. They're not dating but he acts like they are even if he knew she didn't want anything serious.
He's constantly blowing up her phone or coming over any chance he gets. It's not that she hates it but with Taehyung basically doing the same it's like she can't get peace anymore.
Between Jungkook and Taehyung she barely gets a chance to be alone if she's not at school or work. It's like they take turns being with her, making sure she's not alone and it's getting tiring.
"Suzu, you've been holed up in here for days, it's nice to get out and I don't know, spend time with me? I feel like you've been ignoring me lately," Jungkook said reach a hand out to brush through her hair but she moved back.
"Yeah, I don't know if you've noticed but people around me keep getting hurt Jungkook," she told him, "So I'm sorry that it feels like I've been ignoring you but I don't care."
Jungkook couldn't help the way his jaw clenched as he said, "It's just a coincidence."
"Oh my god! You mean to tell me Mino, Namjoon and Yunha We're all just some damn coincidence?" Suzu asked as she stood up, "And all those texts and calls I get are just some coincidence? You're so fucking stupid."
He let out a scoff, standing up to face her, "So you're taking it out on me when I'm trying to be here for you?"
"You're not trying to be here for me, you're only here because you want sex," Suzu mumbled, "If you wanted to be here for me you wouldn't be begging me to go out with you right now that there's a killer on the loo-"
