26 | unknown caller
There's a lot of crazy shit happening lately, Jia knows this and yet part of her still doesn't think about it much. It has taken such a huge toll on Suzu especially and Jia knows she should probably be more frightened but she's not. It's not because she's a complete idiot she's just queen of 'Oblivion is Bliss'.
She's just trying to live her normal life or else she'll be just as paranoid as everyone else. There's got to be at least one person who's not going crazy over Ghostface and she's trying to be that person, but every time her phone rings she gets the chills.
"Yes Jimin, I just got home, I'm fine," Jia said with a sigh as she dropped her things off at the entrance and looked around her empty parking lot, "I'm gonna shower so hang up."
The call ended and Jia went to her bedroom to find clothes and such. Once again her phone rang, not bothering to look she answered, "Jimin I just told you I'm going to shower."
"Who's Jimin?"
Her blood ran cold.
She looked down at the Caller ID that read 'unknown' and with a racing heart she said, "Who's this?"
"Who's this?" A voice that sounded eerily similar to hers answered back, almost like a voice change with her own voice. Okay... that's okay, she'll text Suzu on her laptop. She'll ask her about it, maybe even reach out to Officer Kim who gave her his phone number.
"What do you want?" She asked as she went to her backpack to get her laptop.
"What do you want?"
"There's cops here you know, surrounding the entire block," Jia said as she flipped her laptop open and pulling up iMessages. First she'll try Suzu, see if someone can come over before she jumps to conclusions. Someone might just be messing with her... yeah, that's it.
"What if I'm already inside?" Ghostface's voice was back and it made the hair on her arms stand straight as she looked around her apartment. Her eyes landed on her closet.
"You're lying."
"Maybe, maybe not," Ghostface said, "Why don't we play a game?"
"I don't want to play any fucking games you Psycho," Jia bit back as her shaky fingers began to type.
