Jungkook didn't care much for the conversation that was going on in his apartment right now. Still, he pretended to listen to Suzu's words with the others even though he really didn't care. He made the mistake of letting Jimin and Jia come over and now he's stuck listening to everyone talk about Namjoon.
He understands they were still worried about Jungkook but fuck, it was days ago. He's not even in the hospital anymore, who cares. He sure doesn't. Suzu already ditched him last night to visit Namjoon and then earlier today when she had lunch with Jimin. It's like she rather hang out with any other guy.
Sure, if he goes along with what she says, the okay... he doesn't need to spend all her time with him. Right now he just wanted everyone else to leave so he could get alone time with Suzu. He's got better plans than listening about some crippled. Heh, crippled, that made him have to bite back a smile as he stared off into space ignoring what Jia was saying.
Suzu looked over to him and he just placed a firm hand on her thigh scooting her a little closer to him on the couch. Jungkook likes to act like her boyfriend. He isn't yet, but he will be soon. Right now he's just following along her with little lies of not wanting anything serious. He knows that's not true.
"I need to get to work," Jia said as she checked the time on her phone. The conversation about Namjoon died down and it was getting later. Finally, Jungkook thought as he watched her start picking up her own things.
Jimin was joining so he could give her a ride and Jungkook was only getting happier and happier. Suzu, on the other hand, still had things to talk about.
"Has Yunha texted you at all today?" She asked them as they stood with their back packs hanging from their shoulders. Jia shook her head, "Not since last night but she's probably too busy with Taehyung, her wonderful boyfriend."
The three laughed as Jungkook stared with interest. Suzu looked back down to her phone where she had left a text for Yunha this morning. She asked why she wasn't in class and she read the text but didn't respond. Jimin and Jia were making their leave and Suzu released a small sigh.
"I should go too," she said making Jungkook shake his head no. She nodded, "Yeah, I should. I've got homework tonight but I want to stop by Joon's place again."
"Didn't you just go yesterday?" Jungkook said watching her sit up to get her backpack, "I'm pretty sure he'd want some alone time. Besides, maybe you're stressing him out with your constant worrying."
"Really? Are you saying I'm being annoying?" Suzu asked raising a brow at him but it only made him roll his eyes playfully.
"I never said that, now did I?," Jungkook said with a teasing smile. Suzu turned to playfully glare at him to which he mirrored.
