Chapter Twenty.

You could cut the tension between the two cousins with a knife.

No one in the training facility dared to ask what had happened. It was obvious the two didn't want to talk about it.

Kyle and Erling were trying to make peacemakers between the two of them, but it wasn't working.

Elizabeth had successfully avoided John for the last four days. She hasn't spoken to Sarah either, despite the endless amounts of texts.

She did miss the two of them deeply but they hurt her. They lied to her and she had to find out in the worst way possible, on a day where she just wanted peace.

She shut her computer off in her office and fell back into the chair. She was finally finished with the work for today.

A knock at the door interrupted her thoughts. She called out that it was open and Kyle and Erling entered the room with John walking slowly behind them.

"I don't want to speak to him." Elizabeth snapped.

"You have to eventually Liz." Kyle spoke.

"Even if it ends up in a screaming match, I want to talk to you." John softly spoke.

"What is there to talk about? You got my best friend pregnant, end of discussion."

Kyle and Erling pushed John further into the room so the two cousins were now face to face with each other.

"It's more than that."

Elizabeth laughed, "What? It's more than keeping your dick in your pants."

The two soon began to shout back and forth at each other not realising that Kyle and Erling had left the room. A click indicating the door had been locked stopped the two in their tracks.

"you better not have locked us in." John loudly spoke.

"It's for your own good." Kyle shouted back.

"Erling open the door." Elizabeth spoke.

"I'm sorry Liz, I can't. You need to both talk this out." Erling spoke.

"I'm gonna kill the both of you."

The two boys sat on both of that chairs that were outside the girls office door. They could hear the conversation on the other side word for word.

They weren't exactly being quiet about it. And that was a good thing. They needed to get it all out of their system.

A few members of staff walked past overhearing the situation that was going on behind the two boys. They gave the two of them a sympathetic smile as they past.

"Do you know how long this is gonna last?" Erling asked Kyle.

"Hard to tell, we don't have what's happening in there as the blinds are closed." Kyle pointed up at them.

Elizabeth had kept her blinds closed the last few days. She didn't want anyone to look in her office and see her crying. It would've helped if they were open but unfortunately they just had to sit it out.

"What the fuck is that screaming?" A familiar voice spoke from down the corridor.

"Oh no."

The two turned and stared down the corridor. A concerned Pep was making their way towards them. And he was on a mission to get this sorted.

"Why are you two sat outside Elizabeth's office?" He questioned as he approached.

"She's in there with John." Erling spoke.

"And the screaming?"

"They are getting the tension out of their systems."

Pep raised an eyebrow, "They had an argument?"

The two boys simply nodded.

Kyle held up the key, "So we locked them in until they sort it out."

Pep simply rolled his eyes and laughed slightly. He told the boys they needed to sort it out soon so they could go home.

Back in the office, John sat was sat on the sofa and Elizabeth sat in front of her desk on the floor.

"I'm sorry for shouting at you." The girl finally spoke up.

They ended the screaming match about five minutes ago and neither of them had spoken to each other since.

"You have nothing to be sorry for, I am the one who should be apologising." John quickly spoke.

"You'll be there for her right?"

"What?"

Elizabeth sighed, "Sarah, you'll be there for her and the baby."

John stood up and took a seat on the floor next to his cousin, "Of course I will. She knows that, they have my full support."

"I don't want her to be alone in this. I should probably apologise to her as well."

"She won't be alone, she'll have me as well as you."

Elizabeth nodded and John hugged the girl. She smiled and hugged him back.

"How do we get out of here?" John asked.

"The spare key is under the mat."

John removed himself from her and stared at her, "You had a spare key this entire time?"

"Yes, but we needed to do that so shut it."

She stood up and picked up the mat. She picked up the key and unlocked the door.

Erling and Kyle quickly stood up at the sound of the door unlocking.

"Do that again and I'll put you through the worst recovery possible." She harshly but jokingly told them.

"Got it." Erling spoke, smirking slightly at the girl.

"You two are good?" Kyle asked.

John left the room, "Yeah man all good."

Elizabeth grabbed her stuff which John ended up carrying out. She locked her office door and the four of them made their way out of the building.
