the next few days were pretty uneventful. other than juno feeling as though she was going insane. no matter what she did to distract herself, she couldn't stop thinking about how she had completely lost all self respect. letting liam smash and dash, like always. she wanted more than anything to go back to him, but knew she shouldn't, and so she didn't. she did everything she could to keep her mind off of him, and damon as well.

juno had spent the first half of the day on an acrylic painting she had been working on. she was stood in her guest bedroom, a large canvas stood on an easel, yellow sunflowers painted across the b fabric with a zesty yellow paint. juno had 'the dark side of the moon' by pink floyd playing on vinyl in the background. juno was really captured in the moment, that was until her doorbell rang.

juno snapped out of her trance, placing her paint pallet & brushes down before heading downstairs to see who was at the door. as juno approached the door, through the small window she saw a familiar pair of blue eyes. junos eyebrows knitted to ether as she opened the door.

"damon? what are you doing down here"? juno asked, immediately inviting him in.

"oh y'know, was just thinking of you this morning, decided i'd pop down to say hello". damon replied, stuffing his hands into his pockets as he walked into the living room, plopping onto the couch.

"oh- that's sweet. would you like some tea"? juno asked, gesturing over to the kitchen.

"that'd be lovely". damon replied. smiling warmly at the girl.

as juno went to the kitchen to make the tea, she wondered why he was here, and what he wanted, not really knowing where the too stood after that night. a few minutes later, she walked back into the living room with two cups of tea, handing one of them to damon.

"so.. did you uh.. sort things out with liam"? damon asked, taking a sip of his tea.

"um.. not really? i tried to but he's so.. i don't know, honestly, kind of manipulative. he knows i'm emotionally.. vulnerable and knows he has me wrapped around his finger". juno replied.

"oh. what do you mean"? damon asked.

"well, actually, i guess i did tell him that i was done with him, but he went on and on about how he 'loved' me, and that he couldn't let me leave, and then he uh.. kinda shagged me". juno cringed. as damon stared at her, wide eyed.

"i'm going to beat that cunt". damon grumbled, taking another long sip of his tea.

"it's no big deal, really damon". juno replied, reaching over and placing her hand on damon's knee.

"no juno that's fucked up. like proper fucked. he manipulated you into sex, that's not fuckin' right". damon ranted, siting up straight.

"i know, damon. but i don't want to think about it, okay? let's go have fun, not sit and think about this bullshit". juno replied, smiling at damon, not wanting him to get too worked up.

"yeah, okay sure.. but i'm still kicking gallaghers arse the next time i see him". damon chuckled.

"go ahead. c'mon, let me show you 'round brighton". juno got up, holding her hands out to help damon up.

"alright then". damon said as juno pulled him up.

juno lived about a 5 minute walk from the brighton palace pier, and so she decided to take damon to the palace pier arcade. the two spent an unholy amount of money on tokens to race eachother on the race car games, dance dance revolution, and rigged claw machines.

damon eventually ended up winning a yellow duckling plush that he gave to juno. after the arcade, the two wandered over to a pub, with the goal of getting wasted.

multiple shots and a few pints later, juno and damon were singing and dancing along to 'there's a light that never goes out' by the smiths, that juno had put on the jukebox.

"AND IF A DOUBLE DECKER BUS CRASHES INTO US, TO DIE BY YOUR SIDE IS SUCH A HEAVENLY WAY TO DIE"! the two belted, juno practically falling into damon's arms.

"AND IF A TEN TON TRUCK KILLE THE BOTH OF US, TO DIE BY YOUR SIDE, WELL THE PLEASURE, THE PRIVILEGE IS MINE"! the two continued, damon brushing juno's hair off her face while staring into her eyes.

"don't look at me like that". juno shouted over the music.

"like what"? damon replied, continuing to stare into her green eyes.

"like that". juno laughed, looking down to hide her blush.

damon leaned down beside juno's ear, so only she could hear.

"let's head back to yours, paparazzi is already having a field day, i don't want to do something i'd regret in front of them". damon said.

without another word, juno grabbed her handbag and pulled damon out of the pub. the two hardly exchanged any words on their way to juno's house, and as soon as her front door was shut behind them, damon pushed juno up against the door.

juno wasted no time to grab damon by the back of the head, and pull him in for a kiss. the two of them made out for a while against the door, before damon pulled away. he told her he wasn't comfortable with taking things further while she was under the influence, even though he was too.

instead, juno gave damon a white tee and plaid pyjama pants, and the two curled up together on juno's couch to watch a film. they settled on dazed and confused, and occasionally shared a few kisses during the film.

even while still intoxicated, juno knew what she wanted. she felt so different with damon, in a good way, in a way she never felt with liam.

after they were finished the film, the two headed upstairs to go to bed. damon told juno that he was going to sleep in her guest room, for the same reason he didn't want to have sex. he didn't know if it was what juno would've wanted if she was sober.

juno entered her room and put on her beethoven vinyl, and fell asleep listening to 'sonata no. 16'.
