"Pawn to C4," I said defiantly as Jack smirked up at me. It was Saturday morning around 11 and we had just woke up from a Breaking Bad binge watch that lasted until 3 this morning. Jack loved the show while I sat there confused and eventually got bored and grabbed pillows, blankets, and chairs and when Jack looked up he smiled at me and we started building a fort and grabbed some white Christmas lights and hung them up on the inside and we climbed inside and started talking and eating more of the junk we found in my house.

"So Jack the time has come," I said while eating my Gushers and Jack turned his head towards me.

"Okay so I know it's really weird but I'll tell you if you tell me but honestly I want to know as your friend...how's the sex?"

Jack turned a light shade of pink as he started to laugh and I started laughing with him,"Out of all the questions you ask that one?!" "Yes! Come on I want to know!!!"

"Alright alright fine uhhh she's pretty good actually. She's really small so I can pick her up and place her against the wall drilli-" "Okay I don't need to know all that you're going to make me throw up," I replied and covered my ears with my hands. Jack laughed and I smiled at him. This was just like old times, before Madison and before Justin when we'd just sit and talk about anything and everything. I really missed Jack....

"Y/N remember I always want you to be happy..."

"I am happy Jack..."

"But why him though?" I closed my eyes and sighed,"I thought you said you liked him?"

"I never said that...I said that if he makes you happy then I'm happy."

"Why don't you like him Jack? Please be honest with me," I whispered and it got quiet for the first time.

"He doesn't deserve you Y/N. I know I shouldn't be talking but I feel as someone who loves you that he just isn't good enough for you. That he's only with you because you're some prize. He shows you off instead of relishing the moments with you, and he's so full of SHIT!"

"What do you mean?" I was actually confused.

"Well when you called and told me to fuck off from your life you didn't hang the phone up and I heard everything that he told you and I heard his "romantic" bullshit speech before he asked you to be his girlfriend..."

My eyes widened as I remembered that day. I thought Sammy dropped something on his floor!

"You heard all of that? Jack I'm sorry that's so awkward!"

"That night at your birthday, after Sam carried you out Justin told security to escort us out and Madison was pissed and Justin came down and started talking shit saying that he was better than me and that he didn't understand why you were so heartbroken over someone like me and how he had everything that I always wanted. The career, fame...and you. I got pissed and punched him and that asshole let me hit him. He was looking me right in my eyes as I punched him in his jaw. It was like he knew that I'd do it. He knew that people would record it."

I watched as Jack moved his chess piece and I just stood there with my mouth opened slightly. Jack had to be lying there was no way Justin would say that. I hated talking about my past relationship and Justin knew that and that was basically a secret kept between me and him...he had no right to say that to Jack....if he did...

"B-but Justin wouldn't say that?"

Jack snapped his head towards me and started to look upset but he breathed deeply calming himself down.

"Y/N if this is going to work then you have to trust me?"

"That's a big step Jack, especially coming from you I think that's the last thing you should be asking for."
