Chapter 12

Lydia's at the bunker with Diggle and Oliver, who's doing the salmon ladder and Diggle says, "How's it going with Roy?" Oliver says, "Not well!" Diggle says, "I don't know the kid all too well, but he seems to be five kinds of angry." Oliver says, "You might be underestimating. Roy was mad at the world before he was injected with Mirakuru." Diggle says, "You say you've seen this before?" Oliver says, "Slade Wilson. He was my friend." Lydia says, "Troubling use of past tense there." Oliver sighs and says, "I thought I could help him control it. I was wrong. But I know more now, and I'm not gonna make the same mistake with Roy." The computer beeps and Diggle looks at Lydia and says, "What's that?" Lydia says, "Iron Heights. Due to their low security post-quake, they thought it'd be a good idea to keep an eye on their internal communication for a while." Oliver says, "You hacked into a prison system network?" Lydia looks up at Oliver and she says, "Is that judgment I'm hearing?" Oliver smiles and says, "Pride." Lydia softly smiles and looks back down at the computer and says, "Iron Heights just put out a bolo for Ben Turner AKA Bronze Tiger which BTW is a terrible nickname 'cause tigers are not bronze." Oliver says, "Turner escaped?" Lydia says, "Killed ten guards on the way out." Diggle says, "Think that would've made the news." Lydia says, "Iron Heights is better at keeping secrets than they are at keeping prisoners." Oliver says, "Any idea where he's headed?" Lydia says, "No." Oliver says, "Get one." Oliver walks away.
