a/n a bit of a longer imagine but i've been watching stuff relating to this all day and keep thinking up scenarios so here you go :) lmk if you like the longer format or not

you and your best friend had just come out of a cafe in your town for a kate lunch. you'd not seen each other for a month so you were so in the moment you had barley realised the man that had been keeping an eye on the two of you the whole time.

"hey, has he been here the whole time?" you ask subtly moving your elbow towards his direction.

your friend looks over and notices, he has a weird vibe to him. you've never seen him before and can't recognise him though you'd felt his eyes on you for a while now.

"no, i've got no clue who that is." as soon as you look over again, you make eye contact and he looks down at his phone, typing away.

the lighthearted energy felt between the two of you has diminished to nothing, now replaced by uneasiness and fear.

you both decide to get the bill and leave before anything could happen. all while you are preparing to leave and walking out the door you both feel his eyes on you.

walking faster down the road to get to your car, you message luke saying you may be in danger.

deal is but he's been eyeing

following us

like two shops behind us,
he's kinda walking faster
and he keeps looking down
at his phone then tryna catch
up to us

you grasp onto your friends arm, pulling her closer to you as your car comes into view. you see a stuffed animal placed on your windscreen behind the wipers and your heart starts beating faster than before.

"listen to me, get to the car, don't let anything distract you, there's a toy in the windscreen." realisation crosses her face and she looks almost sick.

you squeeze her hand as you quickly approach your car, each going to your respected sides as you open the doors, jump in and lock them as soon as you can.

you both see the man from before walking past your car through the windscreen, but don't see him through the back windows. this is your queue to get out as fast as you can.

you start the car with shaky hands, and pull out of your spot, seeing another man run to a car, jump in and start driving towards you.

with your heart beating fast you throw your phone to your friend in the passenger seat and tell her to dial luke.
