Long Road Ahead

Chapter 20- Snow, Nova, Zack, to much

If I know one thing it's you always need a break and to take a drive. Preferably alone. I've enjoyed the ride with Snow if she wouldn't be as hyper as she is. She's a sweet dog and all but she's whimpered almost the whole time subtracting the hour she fell asleep.

I stop at the rest stop and get out clipping Snow's leash onto her collar. She runs around and sniffs finally doing her buisness ten minutes into the sniff party. I grab a bowl and water out of the back and set it down for Snow. She laps happily at the water.

"Oh my gosh she's so cute!" A girl about my age says coming up. She has a high pitched voice and Snow cowers down to her. "Can I pet her?" The girl shrieks. I nod and Snow runs from her and behind me. "Aw girl it's okay it's just a loud girl." I say reaches around me and tug on her collar.

She slowly comes from behind me and the girl pets her head. "And FYI i'm not thay loud." She says. "What are you then as quiet as a mouse?" I say. "No but cheerleaders are loud and peppy." She smiles. "Is that suppose to make to drop at your feet and fall in love with you?" I grumble.

"I was hoping so." She pouts. "Well it didn't now goodbye." I say standing up and walking away to my truck. "Wait your not one but interested in me?" She asks. "No." I sau flatly. "Everyone is attracted to me though." She says stomping her foot. "Well i'm not and if you don't mind I have to leave." I mumble.

I climb into my truck with Snow and start then engine. The girl is still standing on the sidewalk in shock and I sigh and drive off. Not all male species will fall down to her feet. I'm not i've already screwed up once and i'm not doing it again.

*Nova'sPov*

I sit on the couch watching the guys play the same video game for the past hour. I want to go out and see the city but all they want to do is play video games. Typical boys. "I'm leaving." I say. I get a chorus of uh huhs and they go back to the game.

I silently growl at them and exit the room and walk down the hall. I need to find someone I can go with or i'll be a lonely girl the whole day and I don't think I can go all day alone.

I look down the hall and see one of the brothers and smile. Maybe that one will go with me. As I get closer I notice it's Zack. "Hey!" I smile. "What's up Nov?" He says looking up from his phone.

"Not much, hey are you busy right now?" I ask sweetly. "Does it look like i'm busy." He smirks. "You see i'm not real sure." I snicker. "You're just to adorable. Whatcha got planned?" He asks. "Wanna explore the town with me?" I ask.

"Let me change okay." He says entering his dressing room. "Are you coming?" "Oh! Yeah." I blush walking into the dressing room. It's set up alot like our own but something catches my eye. I try to figure it out but i'm knocked out of my trance when I hear a crash.

I look over and see Zack letting out a string of curse words and picking up some glass. "I'll help." I say walking to his side. I start to pick up the glass and notice the blood cover Zack's arm. "Zack you're bleeding!" I yelp.

"Oh I guess I am." He sighs with a small smile. "Don't get cut. I need to clean up." He says. "Aye Captin!" I laugh. He rolls his eyes and smiles laughing. I clean the glass up and throw it into the trash bin and wash my hands. "Zack." I say entering the bathroom where he still is. "Yeah?"

I walk over to him and take his arm into my hands. It's not a deep gash but it needs to be doctored and covered. "It's not bad." I say grabbing the alcohol pads. He sucks in a breathe when the pad is on the wound. "That stings." He mumbles. "I know but you need to clean it." I say looking into his eyes.

He looks into mine and I swear time stopped. I never could tell his eye color until now. They are a beautiful shade of blue green. He moves closer and I know he's about to kiss me. When we are only inches away someone bust through the door.
