Chapter 21- You're a Hoe

I watch as shooting fire rehearses and laugh as Zack trips on the chord of his guitar. This is the nineth time he has tripped and it's always so funny. He is such a klutz.

I look at the time and see that Cole should be back any minute. I sent him to the hotel to rest because he seemed super tired. He's been really tired lately. I don't know why though he might not be getting enough sleep.

When Cole returns we are suppose to have a talk about what went down at the party and why he was all over that redhead. Is alcohol a excuse for him to do that? Did he have a bad day? There are so many questions sworning in my mind.

I hear my phone buzz and look down to three new text.

Cole: Be back in ten; need to stop and get Snow some food what does she eat exactly?
Nova: Blue buffelo.

Karina: You're such a hoe! How could you not tell me about your little date with Zack?
Nova: ha! It wasn't a date just a friend thing? But reminder i'm still kinda with Cole.........

Hunter: i'll see you tomorrow front row tixs to see bae!
Nova: Connor Smith is your bae?
Hunter: Nah hoe it's you!
Nova: why is everyone calling me a hoe today? Is it national Nova is a hoe day?
Hunter: sure.?

I laugh at his dumb moment and toss my phone into my backpack that I have sitting next to me. I stand up and slip it onto my shoulder and head to the dressing room to see if Cole and Snow ever showed back up. He wanted to take Snow with him because she helps him sleep better. I don't know why but she does I guess.

I think back to a month ago to something Cole said. How did I not remember this?

"Stop Cole!" I laugh as Cole tickles me. "Fine, fine." He laughs bracing each arm on each side of me and lean down and kiss my lips. "I love you." I whisper. "I love you more." He answers. "Impossible." I laugh. "Why do you sleep at my house these days?" I ask looking into his eyes. "You help me sleep. I sleep better with you." He answers sheepishly.

"You don't have to be embarassed about that." I sigh. "I'm not- well I am. I can't sleep on my own." He mumbles. "I just might really love you dork." I laugh kissing his lips.

"Nova?" Ace says snapping me out of my flashback. "Oh sorry." I laugh. "Cole said he will be here in five." He says. "Cool."

How could I have forgotten? Cole has acute insomnia where it comes and go's and I always was there with him to help him sleep. Snow is the closest thing to me to where it's kinda where we are together. I'm so stupid for forgetting something so big for him.
I'm horrible.

"Hey Nova." Cole says. "Did you sleep?" I ask as he sits down next to me and Snow lays down on the other side. "Not really. Well I did twenty minutes I think." He replies yawning. "How long?" I asks. "Couple of weeks." He answers. "The day of the party?" I ask. "No the day after when I was sober enough to understand what I did." He answers.

"Oh." I reply looking away. "Come on." "Where?" He asked looking at me in confusion. "The tour bus you dork." I laugh. "Uh? I'm not sure that's the best idea." He answers. "Just come on Cole." I say annoyed.

"Uh okay." He says standing up. We walk to the door with Snow on our heels and out to the tour bus. No one is in yet and i'm glad. What i'm about to do is to help Cole. The body can only go so long without sleep.

"Top bunk at the end. I'm be there in a second." I say. He looks at me confused and stands there. "Go." I demand pointing to the bunk room. He shrugs and walks to the back. "Snow is this a bad idea?" I ask slipping into a pair of sweats. She grunts and prances to the back.

I help her up to my bunk and I climb up and lay down next to Cole. We are pressed against one another due to the bunk being so small. "What are you trying to do?" He asks. "Help you sleep. I'm worried about you Cole." I sigh. "Why? I broke you Nova." He says his voice cracking. "Because even though we have things to work out and my trust was broken I still am deeply in love with you Cole." I admit.
