Chapter 7- Your Dog Is Weird.

Cole and I skipped last nights party because I didn't feel like going. I have had a headache and throwing up all night he decided we should just rest. My mom and dad left for there trip which will be two weeks of them gone.

I hate staying home alone so i'll probably have Emmi or Karina spend the night most of the time with me. It would just be way to weird to ask Cole to stay with me because i'm a chicken who's to scared to be alone.

Hey the world needs people to be chickens or afraid of things and it chose me to be. I don't blame the world who wouldn't pick me? Ha kidding that's a joke i wouldn't pick me.

It's currently the middle of the next day and i'm still in my pj's watching nexflix with Snow my dog and Panda my kitty. I have no life so why not waste it watching TV with two fur babies?

There is a knock on the door and snow barks warning me someone is outside. "Alright Snow I get it someone is here." I grumble getting up. I was just now getting comfy and someone has to disturb my lazy day.

I open the door to Cole and he smiles holding a bag. "What?" I snap. "Wow cranky much? But this is a lazy day bag." He smirks. "I'm sorry i'm just tired." I sigh. "Come on in." I add walking over to the couch. "Well lucky you, your amazing boyfriend is here."

"Ugh try annoying." I grumble. "Hey look." He smile. I look at him and he is holding a fluffy blanket, two movies, and snacks. I smile at him and hug his neck. "Try amazing." I giggle.

We sit down and snow climbs next to me laying her head down and stares at Cole. "Your dog is weird." He cringes."No she is not! She's a disabled dog!" I screech. "How's that?" He asks petting her head.

"Bad breeding. See her eyes are alittle disformed so they say she is a disabled dog." I sigh kissing the dogs head. "well she's pretty cool. What kind is she?" He asks. "Border collie/ golden retriever mix." I reply.

"So. Endless Love or Peter Pan." I'm gonna go with Endless Love because i've never seen it." I smile. "Okay." He smiles popping it into the DVD player and hitting play. We watched the movie for a while and I end up falling asleep.

"Hey Nov wake up." I hear Cole whisper. "I'm awake." I mumble into his chest. "Yeah as of two seconds ago. Dang girl you were out after forty five minutes." He chuckles kissing my forehead. "I'm sorry. I just haven't felt well." I sigh sitting up.

"It's okay. Do you want me to take you too the doctor tomorrow?" He asks. "I'm not sure." I sigh snuggling into his side. I look up at his as he tells me it's more than likely best to go to the doctors. "I guess." I sigh as he places his lips onto mine.

"What? You want to get sick too?" I smirk. "Maybe. Then I can take care of you while you take care of me." He winks. "Shut up." I grumble kissing him back. "I love you." He whispers. "Did you?" I say shocked. "I love you also." I whisper.

He places his lips onto mine once more. "What the heck is you your lips doing on my cousin." My cousin yells. "When did you get home?" I ask. "Just now." He steams at me.

One thing is for sure my cousin is very protective of me and also he has bad blood with Cole. I don't know what it is about but it's not good. I only know that he hates him and Cole isn't to fond of him either.

"NovaLynn why would you date him?" He asks shocked. "Because maybe just maybe I might actually love him." I growl at him. "You're stupid for thinking he would love you." Nolan grumbles. "Your stupid for coming here." I fire back stomping up the steps.

"Don't walk away from me Nova!" He yells and I hear stomping behind me. "Just leave me alone Nol." I growl whipping around shoving him alittle.

"Not until you flippin' talk to me about you and him." He yells shoving me back. I trip over the rug and tumble down the steps. The last thing I remember is darkness overtaking me.

*Cole'sPov*

They have been running test on Nova since three which was two hours ago. Nolan got so mad he shoved her and she tripped. I don't believe he meant to but I should of known this would have caused a problem.

But I care about Nova and I couldn't stand seeing her with any other guy. Well she actually has never had a boyfriend but she did have some guy friends who got alittle close.... Before you say anthing i'm not the jealous type i'm just protective of her.

I pace in the waiting area with Drew sitting in one of the chairs. Nolan had to get so air so he left a few minutes ago. "Dude just sit down." Drew says. I do as he says and look over at him. "How could we treat Nova like we did?" I ask.

"What are you talking about now?" He asks confused. "I mean all those years in middle school until now. She was our best friend since birth and we threw her to the curb." I snap at him. "She didn't fit in with our friends." Drew answers with regret in his eyes.

I remember once when we first started middle school Drew and I would hang with the popular kids. One day at lunch Nova came to sit with us and one of the guys laughed in her face and told her to take a hike and sit with the nerds.

She was never the same with us after. We would go to her house to see if she was fine or just to hang out with her. She always slammed the door in our face.

"Why didn't we just stay the four unstoppables?" I ask. "Dude i'm not sure. Okay we started hanging out with those guys who thought Nov was a flippin' nerd and Karina was an annoying stupid southern." He snaps at me. "We should have not cared." I mumble.

"Why do you care so much now? That was all in the past. You've made up with her and i've talked to her about how we did treat her." He asks all serious. "Because she is a big part of my life. I want to know why I threw her away for popularity." I say back.

I watch as people pass by and nurses scurry to get to the rooms. I can't stand sitting here without knowing about Nova. "Dude chill i'll see whats up." Drew says getting up and walk over to the nurse station.

After five minutes of my doffus friend flirting with the nurse he comes back over. "So?" I say. "Well the nurse is married." He replies. "What about Nova!" I yell in frustration. I get a few stares but i shrug it off. "Oh yeah she's awake but we can't see her yet." Drew replies.

Sometimes I think that boy acts like an idiot just to get on my nerves. I think he intentionally try to get on my nerves and annoy me. I love him because we've been friends forever and he's basically my brither but He makes me want to kill him sometimes.

"Uh hi. Are you family to a Nova?" A nurse asks coming in. "Well no but i'm her boyfriend." I reply standing up. "Is there any family here with her?" She asks. "Her cousin was here but he stepped out. What's wrong with her?" I ask concern about the girl I was falling for.

"Nothing is to bad she's stable but we are concerned about her stomach." The nurse replies as I run my fingers through my hair. "C-Can I see her." I stammer. "Uh this way." She smiles weakly leading me to Nova.

*Nova'sPov*

I look up and see Cole, Drew, and the nurse come in. I smile instantly at the aight of them but wince at the pain in my stomach. "Babe?" Cole asks. "Oh hey." I smile weakly at him. "A-are y-you al-alright?" He asks taking my hand into his. "I'm fine it's just the pain in my stomach." I sigh.

"I'm sorry. It's all my fault. If I never would have never been there today this wouldn't have happened." Cole says burying his face into his hands. "No this isn't your fault." I say reaching over to grab his hand. "I knew your cousin hated me and now i'm questioning if I should of ever asksd you out." He sighs.
