Chapter 3 - who said you can boss me around?

Waking up is the worst. I know when i do then i'll have another day of school. I guess it's not as bad since I get to see the one I want to see.

I get up with wobbley legs and crash to the floor with a loud thud. curse my legs in the morning. I stand back up and walk to my bathroom. I brush my teeth and straighten my hair. After i'm done I slip on a pair of skinny jeans with a black tanktop and grey cardigan. Finishing off my look with some black converse.

I hear my phone ring and sigh. Looking at the caller ID I mumble but smile at the same time.

"Hello?" "Tell me something Ice. Why is it your always mad when you wake up?" Cole says. "I instantly smile at the sound of his voice and laugh. " You try falling as soon as you get up." I say. "Your a ice skater and clumbsy?" He asks. "I'm hanging up." I say. "Look outside." He says before I end the call.

I do as he said and see him standing next to my car. Might as well go outside. When I do i'm tackled to the ground. I let out a loud yelp and see Drew and Jackson on top of me. "I really hate y'all." I groan. "Haha y'all." A female voice says. "Emmi?"

I jump up and tackle my friend with a hug. "When did you get back?" I ask happily. "last night." She says back.
" I still hate you two." I say glaring at the two boys.

Emmi has been my friend for a long time now. She's a little shorter than I am and has dyed her hair burgandy. Which looks good for her. She has been in Ohio for the last two years leaving me alone with Karina.

"Karina know your back yet?" I ask. "Nope." She says popping her P. I cringe at the sound and sigh. Might as well not be mad at her right now. She just got back and already is annoying me.

I almost forgot about Cole standing there and almost forgot school. I saunter over to my car and climb into the drivers seat. "What are you doing?" Cole asks. "Driving." I say. "No I am. Now get out." He demands. "Who said you can boss me around?" I ask.

"Me?" He asks. "Nope." Now get away from me car" I laugh. "Please let me drive Nova!" He begs. "When did you become so clingy?" I smirk. "When I took your- "Don't" i growl. "Notebook." He finishes smirking. " I hate you so much." I say scooting to the passenger side.

"No you don't" he says climbing in. "What if I do?" I ask. He leans over and I feel his hot breath against my ear. "Because if you did then you wouldn't let me kiss you. He whispers. I feel my cheeks heat up and I turn away looking out the window.

I hear Cole burst into a fit of laughter and I groan loudly as he starts the car. How did I get mixed up with this bozo? Why did all the sudden he start talking to me again? One day him and Drew hate me and the next he likes me again.

I look over at the boy and smile inwardly. Because admit it, it would be creepy to stare at someone and just smile like a fool. "Close your mouth ice you'll catch flies." He says glancing over at me. "Wha- my- no." I stammer. "Your stammering again." He smirks. "I am not. Well not really." I lie.

I know i'm stammering. What does he think he make me this way. Was I drowling over him? Oh gosh i think I was. What has he done to me. Oh wait nothing i'm just overreacting. Right?

No stupid your not. My concious throws in.

When we finally make it to the school I bolt in before Cole can stop me. "Slow down whirlwind." Drew laughs steading me before I fall. "Thanks." I mumble looking at the ground. "Hey look at me." Cole says taking my face into his hands. When did he come into the equation?

I shift my gaze down before looking up. "I have to go." I murmur before walking away to my locker. I quickly grab my books before sulking to class. "Whats up with you?" Emmi asks coming in. Both her and Karina sit down with me and I sigh.
