In the show, there will be an episode where the teams get hit by a special krangg laser that switches their species (basically, the humans turn into mutants and the mutants turn into humans) April transforms into a red-eyed tree frog and Casey turned into a mosaic axolotl white a splotchy skull pattern on his chest. The turtles turn into humans and their markings turn into vitiligo and the darkness of their skin color as turtles determines the shade of their skin as humans. When they switch, they have clothes on (it's not a thing where it's like "oh I can switch between animal and human but when I switch my clothes disappear) and their clothes are determined by their personalities! For example, Donnie's outfit is cutesy and colorful, sort of like a harajuku style. They find a way to change back but a few episodes later, Donnie creates accessories that can change them between human and mutant. Donnie gets a cute little bunny piercing that goes on his mask tail, Leo gets a watch, Raph a ring, Mikey gets a necklace with a puka shell on it, April gets earrings, and Casey gets a cross necklace. Each accessory has a hidden switch that triggers the change. When in mutant form, Casey and April have new abilities other than their existing ones. April can cling to walls and propel her tongue out of her mouth to catch things and Casey can swim at incredible speeds and breathe underwater. Now, they use the accessories for missions and challenges (wink wink) Stay tuned! 💙❤️💜🧡
