In season one, after the cloaking accessories episode, it is introduced that the turtles partake in a yearly challenge called "the terrapin tournament". Ever since the turtles, April and Casey were young, they played this game together. It's sorta like field day in elementary school. They go through 10 activities⬇️
1. Chubby bunny
2. A relay race
3. Tug of war
4. Hide and seek
5. Red light, green light
6. Test your strength
7. Test your balance
8. Test your flexibility
9. Hide behind
10. Mannequin
The rules are as follows⬇️
1. The turtles must change into humans (new rule)
2. No powers (new rule)
3. No trash talk
4. No cheating/no sabotage
5. Be a good sport
They separate into two teams⬇️
Team green (Raph, Leo, and Mikey)
Team white (April, Donnie, Casey)
And then they play the game and the team that loses must do all of the chores around the lair for a month. They have team uniforms and everything! Whatever color your shirt is, that's the team you're on (so, white shirt and green shorts means you're on white team, and green shirt and white shorts means you're on green team) if a member of one team is out, another team member can win it for the rest of the team. If all the members of one team get out, the win immediately goes to the other team by default. There's a 10 minute break in the middle of the tournament for water and bathroom breaks, and someone can call time out during a challenge if injured or planning on an attack strategy. So yeah!
