chapter thirteen
[ sully's stick together ]

Payakan crashed onto the ship resulting to all the passengers to become the damage. the tribe took this opportunity to fight back as Payakan began to move more. the sky people began to fire at Payakan, however his armor was just to strong.

the harpoons and explosions were deflected from Payakan with ease. Payakan grew angry as he pulled himself off and away from the ship as it sped up. yet still underwater, Payakan still did his best to cause damage to the ship.

Nakili winced as the ship began to grow faster. they were still cuffed but falling, and nobody could stop it. they were stuck. the ship began to crash and water broke loose. as the ship rocked, it felt as though it had hit the bare ground.

"Neteyam." Nakili heard Tuk exclaim. she could practically hear the smile in her voice.

"hey baby brother. need some help?" Nakili smiled a toothy smile as she made eyes contact with the the side of Neteyam's face.

"shut up. cut us loose." Lo'ak's voice was still ringing in his own ears. his heart would not calm, even with Tsireya with him. Lo'ak... was scared.

Neteyam then cut Tsireya loose, then Tuk, and lastly whilst at the end of the line, he cut Nakili loose. "hi, Nakili." he smiled as he cut her cuffs. he was happy to see her.

"hi, Neteyam." Nakili smiled as her hands here suddenly freed.

"please tell me you're okay." Neteyam needed to be assured as he watched Nakili stand up from her knees. ( Nakili is 7,3. somebody get this girl on the court. )

"i am." Nakili nodded breathlessly. Neteyam shook his head and pulled her into his chest; Nakili wrapping her arms around his torso. "i am." she repeated.

the let go of each other. Neteyam cupped her jaw in his hands. "Nakili. i need you to get Tuk out of here." he watched her expression.

here Nakili was, calm. in the most frantic situations that most would be absolutely going hysterical in, Nakili was calm. her breathing was balanced and her heart rate hadn't skyrocketed.

Nakili nodded. "yeah. come on, Tuk." Nakili took Tuk's hand as she did so.

"be careful." Neteyam said as he kissed her forehead. it was almost as though... Neteyam didn't want to watch her walk away. he didn't want her to leave. he had just gotten her back, but this? this was life of death.

then, Nakili and Tuk were gone. the submerged themselves into the water when they heard Kiri scream from the grasp of a Ikran.

Tuk and Nakili both turned in the direction of the sound. "we've got to go back for her." Tuk said to Nakili.

"i know. Tuk wait." Nakili swam after Tuk in her tracks.

"Sully's stick together." eventually, Nakili pulled herself from the water and crept along the floor with Tuk in her hand.

Kiri was cuffed. Nakili saw it with her own eyes. "Nakili." Kiri smiled. Nakili led Tuk towards Kiri and they began to take the cuffs off.

once the cuffs were off Nakili pulled Kiri up. "are you okay?" Nakili pulled Kiri into a hug and quickly pulled away, checking her for any harm that could've been done.

"always." Kiri smiled as she crept down to hug Tuk.

Nakili slowly turned her body as she felt presence. a large presence. looking up, she watched as more than a dozen soldiers pointed their guns at the three. Kiri and Nakili pulled Tuk behind their backs as they slowly put their hands up.

they weren't surrendering, no. they were simply playing it smart. "it's all... going to be okay." Nakili said to herself; talking i herself through it. "all is okay."
