Carlos Reyes + TK Strand
True love
Carlos never understood true love. He knew his parents were meant to be. But he never thought he'd get that kind of love, especially since he was gay. But here he was with his true love, his soulmate, his person, across from him in a hospital bed in a-coma.
It had been three days since Tyler Kennedy Strand had saved a little boy in a blizzard, but had endangered himself as well.
Carlos couldn't lie, he missed his boyfriend. They had fought and hadn't talked for awhile and now he could die. The amount of tears he had cried already. He couldn't lose the love of his life.
The love of his life.
God he couldn't do this.
Carlos got up from the chair and walked out of the ICU to get some air. He couldn't believe that TK could die. God how much he wished that he could trade places with TK.
He had been through so much the last year. The amount of times he got hurt was ungodly. But he had always come back. He'd been good as new. He always came back.
But this time, no one knew if he would even come back. Or if he would be good as new.
Carlos sighed and went back in to sit with his boyfriend. He held his hand, massaging his palms. He started crying again, he was slowly losing his mind. He looked up when he heard a ruffle of the covers.
He opened his eyes. He opened his eyes. Carlos called the nurses and they all ran in to help TK. They had ushered Carlos out of his boyfriends room so that they could help him.
Carlos was still crying when Tommy and Nancy came over to hug Carlos. They were so great too him even though him and TK broke up.
After a while the nurses let him into the room. Carlos walked in and looked at his boyfriend? Ex boyfriend? He didn't know. He stared at him and tears started leaking from his eyes as Tk smiled at him.
"Baby..." Carlos looked at his lover, his breathing was ragged from hearing his mans voice. It was breathy, and pained, but he still had the lightness in it.
Carlos stared at his boyfriend until he felt the soft hands of TK, that's when he melted and just laid there with him hugging him.
It was true love.
Through thick and thing.
Through every hospital visit.
Through every scary situation.
Through every person threatening them.
Through the bad.
Through the good.
Through it all.
Tk is Carlos true love.
