You knew
They were kissing, passionately. His hands trailed down to her waist as hers went to his hair. They were getting hot. He pulled away.
"I'm sorry. I uh-i can't do this." He stammered out as he went to put his shirt on.
"Paul." He looked over at her to see her big brown eyes looking at him. There was some kind of emotion there but he couldn't tell what it was.
"I'm a detective. You know this. Which is why I'm wondering why you hid it from me?" He was surprised she even said something.
"Look at me baby. I don't care about that. I really like you. I want us, you being trans is not jeopardizing that." She said and grabbed his face. He grabbed her waist and smiled down at the girl.
"Your so amazing. I have no idea how I ended up with you. But I'm not letting go." He said and kissed her. Their lips connected in a sweet, loving kiss. He broke it and looked in her eyes.
"You wanna go cuddle?" She nodded and tugged his arm up to his room and cuddled up to her lover.
They were in bliss.
Laying there together in each others arms. There legs tangled together. Her hand on his chest drawing images and lulling him into sleep.
"Thank you for not leaving me." He said into the silence. She smiled and kissed his chin before both fell asleep in the others warm embrace.
