A/N & WARNINGS

Hi everyone! This is my first time writing a story so feel free to give me pointers! Make sure to comment and give feedback for when I edit the story!

This will be a slow burn book. The chapters will be very long in comparison to other stories. There will also be POV changes throughout the story!

I just want to make things very clear that I am in no way trying to copy other authors stories. I have read so many books in this genre that everything has kind of mixed together! I know parts of this story will be very cliché, but I'm trying to be as original as possible:)

As for the names of the characters I looked up Italian names online for all the characters.

- alcohol use

- and other torture devices

- sexual assault/rape (I know this differs from story to story, but I feel like it adds to the plot line)

- annoying siblings/family members

- annoying female characters

- fighting

- sexism

- mature language (cursing)

‼️I will not be giving warnings at the top of each chapter when this content is mentioned. read at your own digression‼️

The female lead in this story is not an innocent little girl. I wanted to create a story with a strong female lead because I feel there aren't enough in the "long lost mafia princess" category.

However, you will be annoyed with some of her decisions throughout the story. Just remember that the characters all have different coping mechanisms and thought processes.

All of the different languages used throughout the story will be translated through Google Translate. I will have what it says in English under the sentences so you don't have to look it up. Just a warning in case anyone calls me out on improper use of the language haha!

Feel free to give ideas on what the characters should do throughout the story!
