(Read the A/N in the last 'chapter' before continuing)
I got back into my room with minimal struggle. I took off my belt of knives, hiding it in my closet. I also took my medicine.
As I'm laying in the middle of my bed with my back to my pillows, I think back to the events from today. Xander hasn't even checked on me to see if I was okay. I wouldn't give him a truthful answer even if he did ask, but I took a bullet for him.
An actual fucking bullet.
And he hasn't said one word to me since we pulled into the driveway. If he doesn't make an effort to talk to me, I believe we will never be able to have any type of relationship. He must really hate me.
Not that I'm not used to his behavior anyhow.
The TV in my room is on creating minimal lighting. I know my medicine will probably make me tired, but I should probably eat something. When I take this type of medicine on an empty stomach, I get really sick.
But right now I don't think it's smart for me to get out of bed. I feel drunk with how much my head is throbbing, and the way my room is spinning.
That's definitely not good
All I want to do is research the information Mike told me, but I literally can barely use my brain. It genuinely hurts. I have had a few concussions before, but this along with being shot and having broken ribs is creating a much more painful situation.
There are light knocks on my door pulling me out of my thoughts. "Come in" I reply
The door opens and I close my eyes from the blinding light in the hallway. I hear the door close, and I open my eyes to see Jason, Ashton, and Luca.
"Hey guys" I mumble closing my eyes again
"Hi twinny" I hear Luca say walking closer to my bed
"Hey Luca" I reply
"I got you some things" He tells me causing me to open my eyes. Luca is standing to the right of my bed, looking down at me with soft eyes
"You did?" I ask a little taken back
Why are they being so nice? I don't get it.
"I got you some food and a slushee." He tells me
I look down and see him holding a Wendy's bag and a coke slushee. My eyes gloss over as I meet his gaze again.
