today was probably the most stressful day of my sisters life. yet also the best day of her life. she sat down, while she got her makeup done, bouncing her leg.

"i'm so excited, yet so nervous." she explained to us, freya sat on the desk in front of her, making sure not to cover the large mirror.

"you'll be alright, i'm so excited for you." freya reassured, "your dress is beautiful, i can't wait to see it on you!"

hours later, everyone was ready and the ceremony was about to begin. everbody who wasn't walking down the aisle was sat waiting patiently. levi stood at the top of the aisle, holding his hands together, his best friend, harry, stood beside him, being his best man. the music started and the groomsmen walked down the aisle, followed by the bridsemaids, including myself and maia. next was freya, aurora's maid of honour. next was felicity's son, rowan, who walked down, walking up and sitting beside felicity.

finally, aurora slowly walked down the aisle, with my mum and dad either side of them. my face turned into a smile, i've never seen my sister look so beautiful. i felt a tear slide down my cheek, which surprised me as i'd never really been the emotional kind.

eventually, she made it to the top of the aisle and the officiant said all the words that are typically said in a wedding. they said 'i do', exchanged rings and kissed, everyone awwing at the moment.

they walked back down the aisle, eventually followed by everyone else. after that, the reception took place. meaning we all sat down and ate, along with speeches.

it come to my turn to speak, and i stood up, nerves running through my body.

"i am honored to stand here today and congratulate my sister on her beautiful wedding. aurora, i love you so much and i am so proud to be your sister. i am so happy that you have found the love of your life in levi. your wedding is everything i know you dreamed it would be, and i only hope when i get married someday that i can do it with as much class and elegance as you have. since we were little girls, we've shared everything. sure, we've had our share of fights, but that's just how sisters are. no matter how much we bickered we never lost sight of the love between us, the bond that will always hold us together as sisters and friends. i want you to know how very joyous i am at being able to share your wedding day with you. you are a very beautiful bride. levi, i know you are the perfect man for my sister, and i know you'll treat her right for the rest of your lives. i want to welcome you to our family and say i'm glad to call you my brother-in-law. i'd like to propose a toast to my sister aurora and her new husband levi. here's to true love!" i spoke, my sister looking at me with a tear strolling down her cheek and we shared a group hug between, her, levi and i.

maia also said her speech, and our speeches together left the whole room in tears. sooner or later, we all went to our hotel rooms to change for the after party. my sister was going to wear a slightly less extravagent, yet still formal dress, however she informed me to look like i was going on a nice night out, rather than something extremely formal.

i wore a black bodycon dress, with gems on the straps. i wore plain black heels, mentally scolding myself for the pain i was putting myself through, knowing i'd later regret it. my sister texted me, asking to come to my room, which i quickly agreed to. i sat in front of the body length mirror in my hotel room, straightening my hair as my sister walked in.

"you're about to formally meet tommy, did you see him in the actual wedding part?" aurora asked, sitting behind me on the bed.

"i did see him, yes. but you just got married and you're still talking about me? give it a rest, rory, it's YOUR big day, not mine!" i shook my head, finishing my hair and turning my straighteners off, leaving them on the desk to cool down.
