once again, i found myself louging around in my living room with none other than tommy. our sleepovers were becoming pretty frequent, whether it be my place or his. each day, our bond grew stronger and stronger and we were spending more time with eachother than anybody else.

it sure came with problems though, and by 'problems', i mean rhys thames. he'd only grown jealous over tommy taking over my attention, and his attempts to win me back were pathetic. four lots of flowers had been sent to my door, countless text messages, pointless phone calls, you name it, he tried it.

"do you wanna be my valentines?" tommy blurted out of the blue, causing me to look over at him with confusion on my face.

"wait, really? like proper valentines or friendly valentines?"

"like, proper valentines." he confirmed, seeming nervous. "you don't have to be, we're both just very lonely."

"yes, tommy, i'll be your valentines." i spoke through a smile, trying to avoid my cheeks burning crimson red.

"thank you?" he said, it coming out like a question. "is that what you say? i don't know."

laughing at his awkward state, i threw a piece of popcorn at him. shockingly, he caught it in his mouth making us both scream out in shock. that only led to us each trying to throw popcorn into eachothers mouths, it failing more than succeeding.

"tom, this time next month, rory's gonna have had leo." i started, tommy smiling.

"i'm so excited for them, it's so crazy how she's actually having a baby."

my sister was eight months pregnant by this point, and watching her stomach grow overtime was pure bliss. she'd picked out a name, leo, and at her and levi's shared home the nursery was prepared for him. tommy had become a part of our family once levi and aurora got married, so he was equally as excited as the rest of us.

wilbur, tommy and i had been working on my song and settled on it coming out in early july. there was so much to look forward to, but nothing could ever be perfect for me.

we were rudely interrupted by a few knocks on my door, expecting it to be my mum, i walked over and opened it. furrowing my eyebrows, i saw nobody. looking down, i was faced with a blue box. sighing, i picked it up and shut the door, walking back into my living room.

"has he sent you flowers, again?" tommy scoffed, getting closer to me as i opened the box.

"i think so." i laughed to myself, seeing the bouquet of daisies, "you'd think he could atleast get it right, wouldn't you? i'm a roses girl, the most basic kind of flower!"

"note to self." tommy mumbled, "anyway, yeah, he's fucking stupid. weird, aswell. do you think he'll ever take the hint that you don't want him?"

"probably not," i rolled my eyes, "he's an odd'en."

"does he follow your spam account?" tommy asked, making it obvious he had an idea.

"no but he's in my requests, why?" i looked over at him, confusion written all over my face.

"valentines day, accept it, post something of us." he explained, "you can delete it after or whatnot, but it'll piss him off."

"you've got a brain, tombola. you're much smarter than i thought."

"ay, ay, what can i say! oh fuck, that was a rhyme."

"well done, shakespeare." i sassed, sarcastically.

"shut up, weirdo." pulling me closer to him, he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me down to lie with him.

moving one of his arms, he pulled a blanket over us. lying comfortably with my head on his chest, i put my arm around his neck.

"you've made me tired." i complained, keeping my eyes closed.

"you're breathing funny." he laughed.

i just laughed, knowing it was just from me trying to match our breathing. we lay comfortable and quiet, a random rom-com playing on my flat screen tv in the background. he ran his hand up and down my back softly, and before i knew it i fell asleep. how i went from hating the idea of him to sleeping on my couch with him, i couldn't tell you.
