This didn't go where I thought it would but I saw someone on tiktok ship roach with gaz and it grew on me..
"Fuck soap. I know we left him. But I want you. Only you. I.. fuck soap I love you." Ghost replied with a more anxious sounding voice this time which is rather unusual for him as he keeps clear confidence in his voice at all times.
"I love you too Simon. But-"
"No. No buts. That's it." Ghost said. "I'm late to training again, I need to go sergeant."
Soap sighed but pulled ghost into the hallway, out of view from the others. Soap pulled up ghosts mask, cupping his cheeks and hungrily kissing the man. Ghost leaned into the kiss but pulled away before soap could attempt to go any further with his actions.
"Soap. Im late." Ghost reminded but gave a quick kiss to the shorter man before pulling his mask back down into place and excusing himself.

Gaz and roach were still in the mess, roach felt comfortable enough to speak with gaz as they'd been very close friends before and he knew gaz wouldn't judge him for his now more confusing way of speaking as he went months without talking to anyone, meaning he had to pretty much teach himself how to speak without it being painful because of his then untreated injuries from the betrayal of shepherd.
Gaz knew he had to distract Gary as much as he could while he's around the others. Soap had opened up to him about what ghost said and how there relationship had been for awhile and gaz felt like keeping that information hidden and tucked away from roach was necessary.
Roach was a bit childish, and emotional and that information would confuse him to much. I mean who wouldn't it confuse? His ex boyfriend is dating his sergeant but still is inlove with him but doesn't want to get back with him because he actually loves soap? That's hella fucking confusing.
And the last thing roach needs is more stress in his life. That's the last thing any of them need right now.
"Have you met the new guys?" Gaz asked with a smile on his face. Roach shook his head but his eyes lit up like an excited puppy that just saw a squirrel outside. 'God he's adorable. What a lucky bastard ghost was.' Gaz thought.
"No, I haven't. Well König is new right?" Roach said as he wasn't sure if that information was true since he literally just showed back up not even a day ago.
"Yes! Him and what's his name.. Horangi! Those are the knew guys, I'm assuming you met König already, right?" Gaz replied back. "Mhm I told him that he missed a loop for his belt on his pants." Roach laughed at the end of his sentence.
"Yea I think he does it on purpose now." Gaz laughed aswell, Gary's laugh was very contagious.
Roach looked up at gaz and made eye contact, gaz examined the facial features he could make out through the man's balaclava, he had removed his goggles earlier.
"Holy shit!" Gaz said as he looked at Gary's eyes.
"Hm? What?" Roach said, a wave of panic washed over him at the sudden change in gaz' voice.
"Your eyes! They're beautiful, how did I never notice you had heterochromia?" Gaz said, Gary had a green eye and a brown one that had speckles of blue here and there.
"Oh uhm thanks! I usually wear contacts because I think brown eyes look better on me." Roach blushed lightly at the comment, grateful for his balaclava at that moment.
Gaz had a light pink tint to his face now aswell. He'd just excuse it if it was brought up.
"You're welcome roach, wanna grab something to eat it's almost lunch?"
"Sure, gaz."
They smiled at eachother before getting up to go get some food from the kitchen.
