ib: sweet..eggs on tt
Alejandro got down on one knee. He pulled a small black velvet box out of his pants pocket and held it up to Rodolfo. A sweet smile on his face, oke Rudy was quite familiar with.
"No." Rudy said sternly. "No." He repeated.
"Yes." Alejandro spoke, that same big and sweet smile still on his face.
"No." Rodolfo sighed as he felt tears prickle at the corners of his eyes. "Alejandro," Rodolfo started. "What?" The colonel replied the smile starting to fade. "You're being mean." Rodolfo finished as he moved his hands to push at the tiny black box. "Stop it." Rudy spoke. "What? How am I being mean?" Alejandro asked. "Stop it!" He growled as he pushed the box closed and towards Alejandro and forcing him to stand up once again.
They sat there in silence for a few quick minutes as Rodolfo felt streams of tears flow down his cheeks and he sniffled before finally speaking up.
"I have been second to her my whole life!" Rodolfo yelled at the taller man, his voice had a sudden hint of anger in it. "In everything! Alejandro! Every fucking thing!" He chocked out before stopping to look at Alejandro's expression.
He wasn't even sad.
Or disappointed.
Or angry.
He just had that casual resting face as if he was being told off for something simple like forgetting to do the dishes or breaking a glass.
"And I, I will not be the person you settle for, just because you can't have her!" Rodolfo yelled, louder than before a he put his pointer finger to the taller man's chest. Right on his heart.
Oh god, people were staring at them now.
Some of the 141 was staring. Alex, Farrah and Gaz.
Oh, gaz..
Alejandro's mother, his brothers were staring.
"I won't.." Rodolfo replied in a calmer more defeated voice. "I won't do it." He sniffled and wiped his tears on the sleeves of his hoodie.
"I won't- not when I've spent my entire life loving you." Rodolfo continued. He tried his best to ignore the stares of the people around them. He tried to ignore Alejandro's mother calling out to him.
"I've, ive always love you Rodolfo." Alejandro spoke up after clearing his throat.
"No. You love me after you love her." Rodolfo corrected. "She's the one you want, the one you need, Ale." Rodolfo sniffled again and backed away from the colonel.
Rudy looked around to see who was around. One person had caught his eye, someone he didn't think he'd see there.
His own sister. His older sister.
She had gotten there late due to traffic.
She was one of the very few people in his life that hadn't left him.
She was holding a child, a man holding onto her hand as she sat there staring at Rodolfo and his 'partner' with tears glossing over her eyes.
Rodolfo quickly put his head down and retreated from the restaurant they had been eating at.
He lost his appetite anyways.
Rodolfo muttered a quick "good to see you again, María." As he bolted out the front doors of the nice restaurant and ran down the street.
"Rodolfo wait!" Gaz yelled as he attempted to chase after the sergeant major.
Rudy didn't turn back he just kept running.
The base wasn't to far from here, maybe he could get to his room without disturbing anyone. I mean it was dinner time every one would be in the mess. Except for könig. Or Horangi. But they would be busy with eachother.
