This is a pt.2 of another chapter uhh

Possible tw because roach talks about how ghost gets physically with him sometimes

There out of character but ghost is a lot more aggressive in thsi I think

Ghost is a bad partner in this, sorry

Roach curled up and in bed, grabbing fists full of the blanket soap had layed on him, it was thin and not so fluffy basically just another sheet. Only thing that they had.

Roach often had nightmares about the things that he was involved in or had seen on the battle feild, the death of his friends and team mates started to get to him. Ghost had similar nightmares but mostly about his family. And his other team members, those ones are fairly rare though. Soap was always there to help but he always pushed roach away whenever he tried to help calm him, to comfort him. And I mean literally pushed him away.
He always chose soaps comfort. Favourites him.

Ghost often got violent with roach after he had his nightmares, he'd often hallucinate and see roach as one of the people he'd been 'dreaming' about and act on his anger but he never got a real apology for it or an explanation for why his partner often hit him when he couldn't deal with what he's been through. He never did this to soap. Ghost always treated soap better then roach. Maybe it's because John can verbally interact with him, can speak to him when he's upset, can reassure him, can comfort him with just his voice alone.
Gary 'Roach' Sanderson cannot.
Roach sometimes feels like he's just there for show, or just a punching bag.

Soap cares about him, he hopes.
Soap actually talks to him and tries to help him out with the things he cannot do on his own, like communicating with other teammates who do not understand sign, unless price is around.
Price often helps him communicate to other people when it comes to basic sign. 'Hello' 'thank you' 'you're welcome' the basics, like I said.

Roach brought his rough hands to his cheeks, feeling the wet liquid stained on his cheeks. Oh.
He didn't realize he'd been crying. Maybe it was thinking of ghost that did it, he really loved Simon, with his whole heart but he'd been shoved away one to many times.
Roach looked around the room and noticed ghost was still in bed, uh oh.
He was turned away from him, his face unable to be seen even with his mask off due to his hair covering his eyes and cheek.
Roach hopes he's awake just so he doesn't have to deal with his aggressive behaviours.
Ghost is a very aggressive man.

Roach shifted a little, trying to get comfortable, moving the blanket a little bit off of him. Fuck he hated the summer, well just the painfully overheating weather.
"..Gary?" Ah. That familiar british accent. Ghost was indeed awake.
Ghost shifted in bed and sat up, looking down at Gary as he ruffled his own hair at an attempt to get his hair out of his eyes. Roach also sat up, moving closer to the wall in a attempt to make space between him and the Brit.

"Gary." Ghost replied, a different tone this time, it sounded more.. sad?

'what?' Roach signed, yawning afterwards as he shook his head and ruffled his own hair similar to how ghost did. Ghost shuffled closer to him. 'Please. Distance.' roach signed again and frowning 'I'm sorry, Simon.' Gary signed as he crawled off the bed and quickly left the room, closing the door as calmly as he could behind him.

He walked to the mess hall hoping to atleast find soap and get something to eat.
And he indeed did find soap, making himself coffee. Soap looked up as he heard the doors open and waved roach over to him with his familiar warm smile.
Roach hurried over to him and stood by his side trying to return soaps smile with a sadder and weaker smile.
Soap scanned his lovers face and brought a hand to his cheek. Something was definitely up.

"What's up with you, bug?" Soap questioned in a gentle tone. Roach sighed and brought his hand up to hold soaps wrist as he melted into the palm of his hand like ice cream under the heat of the warm sun. Which is what he felt like with the heat wave happening currently.
'I'm scared of ghost again.' Roach signed, admitting to something he never though he would, ever again.
Soap frowned and stroked Gary's cheek with his thumb, slowly. "Let's go back to your room after we have coffee, alright?" Soap suggested roach nodding in response.
"Is ghost still in my room?" Roach nodded.

         __________________________

After soap and roach finished up their caffeine they'd gotten up, put their dishes away all that stuff and walked back to roaches room once they saw ghost enter the room. Probably to get tea.
(Br*tish people dni)

Once they reached his room soap noticed how long it had been since he's been there. Not a lot of things changed but he did notice a few new books on his desk, soap smiled at that. They were books Rodolfo had gifted him a few months ago since they would read together when they had down time.

Alejandro and soap both agreed it was nice seeing them get along together especially since Rodolfo wasn't the social type.

Soap and roach both plopped down on roaches bed, John immediately pulling roach onto his lap and hugging him, getting a smile out of Gary as he hugged him back. That smile quickly fading to a frown when roach pulled out of that hug. 'Ghost doesn't love me anymore, soap, he's all yours' he signed.
"Bug, Gary.. how couldn't he love you?" Soap frowned.

'He loves you dearly soap, so much that he forgets to love me aswell. There's only so much room in his tiny heart.' Roach replies.
'He's hit me more times then I can remember after his nightmares and refuses my comfort, he always chooses you over me.'

Soaps eyes widened. "He hits you?" Soaps tone turned cold.
Roach nods
'He's not a bad guy, it's not all the time he just.. isn't him when he wakes from nightmares.'
Roach sighed.
'it's no big deal I promise, I've been through worse.' Roach reassured.

Soap didn't believe him, it was a big deal to him. Hitting your lover is a big no no. Soaps gonna make sure that gets through ghosts thick skull.

But he dropped it.

'I don't want to talk about it farther. I just want the affection you haven't been giving me recently' roach signed with a slight smile on his face.

Soap nodded and layed back on the bed holding Gary in his arms.
Soap leaned down a bit and kissed Gary getting a soft smile in return.
John began planting soft kisses all of the man head and whispering soft words in reassurance.
One of the many things John 'Soap' MacTavish was amazing at.

Soap was about to say something but was stopped by sound of knocking at the door.
Soap stood up "one moment" he said as he approached the door with roach following behind him.

Soap opened the door and felt roach softly touch the back of his arm. It was ghost. Oddly enough roach smiled at the sight of ghost. "Roach, Soap.." ghost said softly, weird.

Ghost always had a cold tone no matter the situation. He couldn't help it.
