WINGMAN CODY

KEIRA WAS ASSIGNED with Cody and Rex for their inspection.
Their mission had lead them into the Rishi moon, because of the upcoming inspection. The red haired woman didn't know why, but Master Yoda, Anakin and Obi-Wan thought that the Rookies would be more comfortable around the young beauty instead of their clone Captain and Commander.
She had to be honest- the last time she had talked with her three friends in the med bay about her first and possibly last love, she couldn't stop thinking about him.
Lancelot.
It pained her chest, knowing that something very deep laid down within their past. She knew if it would resurface, Keira could walk away once again but this time unhonored.
"Keira? I asked you, if you're good to go?", Cody asked, chuckling as he caught red haired woman deep in thoughts, smirking at Rex who rolled his eyes amused and blushed, which he (of course) tried to hide all time.
"Yeah.. uh.. I was-"
"Thinking about Sinker, were we?"
She chuckled and shook her head, not knowing that Rex' heart broke every time she was called out with another men- even though it was his own brother.
"Of course, my saviour in armor."
Cody chuckled, while Rex sighed. "We should get going, the inspection is already as annoying as it is.", he mumbled, feeling jealousy rise in his chest, causing his heart to ache once more.
Keira rolled her eyes, all annoyed by the Captain himself. Since the med bay, he wasn't his usual self anymore, which caused her to worry- but at the end of the day she was just upset about his behaviour towards her.
The young woman shared a glance with Cody, who just shrugged and sighed. The Commander of the 201st Battallion knew what was up with his brother, he just didn't snitch on him.
"It looks very silent down there, no one is going around patrolling, or awaiting us on the platform.", Rex said, earning a nod from Cody, while Keira narrowed her eyes. "I don't know..", she mumbled. "I have a bad feeling about this."
The Captain looked with furrowed eyebrows at the young woman. "You're right. Something bad is going on."
"The way this trooper acted, I don't know.."
"Yeah, as I said, if something bad happens, you two are in charge.", Cody joked dryly, making Keira sigh and shake her head. "I don't even know why I am here, I'm a damn bounty hunter and not really apart of the Republic anymore."
