THE LOSS

KEIRA STOOD ASIDE ARTHUR walking with him towards her friends. She knew that it was necessary for them to stay together- and not depart ways, because Cad Bane was a hell of a smart bounty hunter.
While Keira was still working missions as a scum.. she met him- several times. And even she wasn't able to defeat him.
But oh how they turn tables.
"So.. were are those precious friends of yours?", her father asked as they hid behind one of the big ships, causing her to scoff.
"Lancelot is already with them, which is kind of confusing for me how he got to them before me, but I'm not asking questions.", she shrugged and scanned the area around them- Cad Bane in the middle of the hangar surrounded by battle droids.
He wants to use Anakin or Ahsoka to open the Holocron..
Ahh, he didn't know she was a Jedi- which she thought.
Through her comm, she heard the voice of her ex-boyfriend calling out for her in worry and dialing her the right way to were they were. "Shit..", she mumbled and tried to cut off the power of her comm.
She took the comlink and threw it onto the ground, her father chuckling amused behind her.
He's really used to all of it.. not even flinching at the sound of the clankers, when Bane had ordered to them that they should search the hangar.
They were near..
Him, Rex, Ahsoka and Ani.
But mostly Rex and him..
Keira shook her head, nodding at her father. "You-", she started and was interrupted by him, when he had placed his hand onto her lips while holding the blaster in the other one.
"Call me buir.", he said, amused, and nodded at the little passage to sneak away from them, where they could hide. "And I will distract them. Stay safe, dinui."
Keira grabbed him by the wrist, worry in her eyes as she asked him what it meant, what all of it meant.
"I don't want to loose you right after I got you.", she said, earning a chuckle as he kissed her hairline tenderly.
"Buir means father.", he explained and sneaked away. "And you're my gift, dinui."
Keira watched him leave behind the boxes.
She had to think.. to distract him.
Huffing, she took a deactivated electro shocker from her wrist and slipped it underneath her wrist, knowing that she might need to electrocute her again to distract Bane.
Sadly, more than just that is about to happen..
"Who's here?", she heard the droid ask, causing her to press her lips into a thin line and standing up, her arms raised in defeat while she sighed.
