Chapter 47

EVELYN'S POV

I got to his room and hesitated entering. I was nervous and anxious as well. It will be just us together in that room not just the room, the whole building at the night he confessed. He confessed to liking you and not loving you my subconscious chided me. I took a deep breath before knocking. I heard a faint come in before I entered. This was the first time I am being in his room and here I thought my room was big men his was very massive. There was a king-sized bed with a gray colored duvet and bed spread, a reading table and chair which was directly opposite the bed, a couch and the walk in closet. Everything in the room was either black or gray except for the roof which was white. I was still looking around the room when Eros invited me over

"Come on" Eros said tapping the space on the bed beside him.

I walked towards him and lay beside him. He gathered me in his arms and rested my head on his chest while his other hand caressed my hair. He inhaled my scent and moaned which made me feel somethings under there

"You smell very nice" he complimented me

"Hmmm" I responded not trusting myself to make any coherent response.

He kissed my forehead and bid me goodnight before closing his eyes to sleep. Wait wait hold up was that it? 😳  To say I was a bit disappointed would be an understatement. I mean yeah I told him to take things slow but not in a slug slow kind of way. Come on he didn't get to see the lingerie I was putting under my robe.  I mean we don't necessarily have to have sex right away we could just maybe start from where we stopped downstairs. Have a heated make out session and foreplay before going off to sleep. When I realized the line of my thoughts I gave myself a knock on the head. What was I even thinking, definitely this wasn't me talking it must be the alcohol I told myself. I layed comfortably on his chest and the steady sound of his heart beat lured me to sleep eventually.

The next morning I stirred in my sleep and opened one of my eye. I noticed that the color of my room has changed so I opened it widely only for me to see myself laying on top of Eros and that was when the event of last night really dawned on me. So it really happened and it wasn't a dream. I stirred once more trying to wiggle out of Eros embrace because I urgently needed to use the restroom, my bladder was full and ready to start trickling.

"If you keep wiggling like that I can't guarantee what would be happening to you in the next minute" Eros said in a sleepy voice. I blushed a crimson red when he said that and thank God he couldn't see my face because his eyes where still closed

"Uhmmm I really need to use the bathroom like right now" I told him standing abruptly before dashing out of his room.

"You know you could use my bathroom" I heard him saying over his voice before I dashed out of his room.

I rushed into my bathroom and relieved myself. When I went to the sink to wash my hands I saw myself in the mirror and was horrified. My hair was just all over the place and I had eyeboggers in my eyes. I just hoped that Eros didn't see me clearly looking like this because he will be scarred for life. I decided to have my bath as well and change out of the lingerie which was of no help last night. I finished my bath and wore a top with shorts, blow dried my hair and tied it in a pony tail. I am not going to college today because I was done with my exams I just need to finish my project for my defense which was in two weeks time so I still had time to complete that. I went downstairs to have my breakfast and saw that Eros was down there already having his.

"Good morning babe" Eros greeted me as soon as I got down and I heard the clattering of falling utensils from Mrs Teresa's hands she eyed me before looking at Eros and then looking back at me before smiling and picking up the utensils.

"Good morning to you too" I responded his greeting before greeting Mrs Teresa.

I sat down on my seat and Mrs Teresa served me my own breakfast of toasted bread with fried egg and tea. I took a bite of the toasted bread with egg and moaned into it because it was divinely delicious. I took my tea and drank from it

"So tell me how was your night, hope you slept well?" Eros asked me smirking. As soon as I heard his teasing words I choked on my tea

"Please darling take it easy we wouldn't want my wife choking on her tea while there are other things she could be choking on" Eros said coming over to my side of the table and gently tapping my back. I eyed him with horror in my eyes

"How could you say that with Mrs Teresa here" I muttered to him lowly

"You will surely pay for this" I said to him lowly giving him an evil smile. He shuddered at my smile before replacing it with a smile of his that gives me tingling sensations

"I would love to see you try" he said winking and taking his seat back. All these while Mrs Teresa was silent and I hoped she didn't hear any of those comments.

Eros finished his breakfast and dumped his dishes in the sink.

"I guess you won't be going to school today" he asked me and I nodded a yes to his question. He washed his hands and wiped it with a napkin

"I will see you later then love" he said finally kissing the top of my head before he carried his suit case and left leaving me in a daze. He has been throwing these endearing words around since last night and I can't get used to them yet.

"It's been so long I saw this side of him" Mrs Teresa said smiling while interrupting my thoughts

"I take it that things are going well between you too" She continued still smiling brightly

I was really surprised with her actions l mean she looks so happy seeing that Eros and I are getting together. This means that she really do have the best interests of Eros at heart and I was happy because it made me trust her a little bit more than I did before.

"Yes things are indeed going well between us since last night" I responded to her smiling  as well

"I told you Eros is indeed a very good man if you get to know him and let him in. Don't just think too much about anything or what anyone says and enjoy your marriage dear" she told me lovingly

"Thank you" I said to her. For some reason Mrs Teresa just reminded me of my mother and at that moment I missed my mom terribly. I made a mental note to call my dad later. After I finished my breakfast I washed I and Eros' plates eventhough Mrs Teresa protested.

After I was done with the dishes I went up to my room and took up my phone to call dad but saw a text from Ethan apologizing and asking me if I got home safely. I replied yes and told him I will be giving him the details later whenever we see then I called dad afterwards

"Hello my princess" came his voice immediately he picked the call

"Good morning dad and how are you doing?" I asked him

"I am fine princess and congratulations I heard from Eros that you just finished your final papers and my daughter didn't even call to tell me" he said. I was a bit taken aback when he said Eros told him

"Dad Eros told you when?" I probed further

"He told me yesterday. Actually he has been giving me an up to date information about you, such a good boy he is" dad said praising him

"Wait dad I want to get something clear here, so Eros has been calling you?" I asked him yet again

"Oh yes he calls me atleast every two days interval since I left with your aunt unlike my daughter here" dad said

"You see your mum wasn't wrong after all God bless her soul" dad completed

"Yes she wasn't. Dad I just wanted to know how you are doing. I will come and visit once I am done with things here so take care of yourself for the main time and extend my greetings to aunt okay. I love you dad" I told him

"I love you too princess" dad replied before I hanged the call.

This new information I got about Eros made me feel some kind of way. I felt something deeper for him when I heard he has been calling my dad all these while and he never told me not even once. I smiled deeply trying to think of what to do for him to reciprocate his kindness.
