Chapter 46

(Faith pov)

Ariana's apartment📍

I made sure to bandage my knee without her look & put on a knee brace. It still hurts but I'll manage through it. I get changed putting on my baby's thank you next shirt & black hoodie. This time I put on my eye contacts instead.

Ariana: "Baby you forgot your glasses."

Faith: "I'm not going to use them today." I smile.

Ariana: "Ohh." She chuckles holding my glasses. "Umm I don't if you look cuter or sexier without them."

Faith: "It's not like you haven't seen me without them before?"

Ariana: "Ya but it's just you always have them on."

Faith: "You can figure that by yourself in the meantime I gotta go." I kiss her cheek & take my glasses from her.

Ariana: "Probably sexier I think?...text me when you get there."

Faith: "I will bye I love you." I grab my keys & head out giving her a kiss.

Times Union Center📍

Owen: "You're 10 minutes late."

Faith: "Ya I know, try getting out of the Manhattan traffic."

Owen: "Your headset is over there, if you need anything call in."

Faith: "You're not going to teach me anything? Like show me the rope, this is my first concert."

Owen: "I'm doing you a favor kid, you don't want to listen to this old man rat about his day, you'll get the hang of things."

& with that I take off my hoodie & put on the headset. Next to it he made a list of things I needed to do & make sure everything was running smoothly.

Faith's thoughts: "Alright let's get this done."

It was slightly overwhelming but nothing I couldn't handle. I have worked as a waitress for 3yrs. I know how busy & chaotic things can get. To add to that everyone knew who I was almost, the people managing hair, make up, & outfit constantly asking me when she was arriving.

Faith: "She should be here by 3:30 maybe sooner."

Tessa: "Appreciate if you see tell her Tessa is looking for her." I nod & get back to work.

Not even 30 minutes later Courtney walked around & headed my way.

Courtney: "Look at you being all techy with that headset & tablet."

Faith: "Don't you have Ariana to annoy."

Courtney: "Not really she is barely on her way with Victoria & Alexa, I came here with the guys."

Faith: "You're going to get really bored following me around you know that, just do whatever social media content creators do what it is that you do, wait in the dressing room for her."

Courtney: "I do more than just do stuff on insta, I have sponsors & I'm also working on my own business thingy."

It was a little hard to believe, but at least she had her life figured out at 20.

Faith: "Like what?"

Courtney: "Umm that's something I can't say right now, it's a...I'm a go see if there is anything to drink."

I chuckle to myself smiling getting back to my list. Calling checking up & after 2 hours everything running smoothly. To my surprise I've been handling myself well.
