I rush to Avery.
'AVERY! Have you made my illusion for Beast Keeping this week?' I ask
'Yep.' she says, but I can tell that she is thinking about something else.
'Are you sure?' I check. Avery nods and I rush down the hall, quickly changing my uniform from Beastkeeping to Bard. I rush into the classroom and take my seat.
'Harmony, you're late... again.' Frowns Mr Waters.
'Sorry Sir, I forgot my books.' I say quickly. Mr Waters raises an eyebrow. 'Again.' I add quietly. Mr Waters shakes his head and starts teaching the class. Mitchael is sitting behind me, as usual, and is flicking paper balls at the back of my head absent-mindedly. I trace a circle with my finger and suddenly they're hurling themselves back at Mitchael's head. He flinches, then hisses at me and I smirk. Mr Waters tells everyone to pull out their instruments. I summon my bass clarinet and out of the corner of my eye, I see Mitchael pull out his lyre.
'Harmony Hope please come to the office now.' A voice says over the screaming gremlin bell. The class looks at me. I pack up my stuff and walk towards the principal's office.
'MUM, DAD!?' I shout 'What are you doing here?'
'More importantly, what are you doing in a bard uniform?!' My mum asks.
'Harmony here has been skipping beastkeeping and going to bard classes' Principal Faust says to my parents.
'HARMONY!' My dad yells at me. I run out of the office to Avery's class. 'AVERY!!!' I shout as I run.
'Sorry, sir, can I borrow Avery for a bit?' I ask Mr Hopkins the illusion teacher once I get to her class.
'Sure' he responds. Avery follows me out of her classroom, looking confused.
'How could you Avery, you didn't make my illusion for beastkeeping, How dare you, now I will be expelled and disowned by my family I will never forgive you.' I said to her angrily.
'I'm so sorry!' she says back. She looks like she is, but I don't care. I run off and message Lili on penstagram asking if I can stay at her place for a bit.
