When we get back to my house, Brayden greets us at the door.
'So what happened?' He asks eagerly, although, he also sounds quite worried.
'Don't worry Brother 1, we defeated the wicked scoundrel behind the attacks.' I say pretentiously. We all chuckle a bit, then Brayden pulls me into a bear hug.
'I was so worries you were going to do something stupid and get yourself killed.' He whispered in my ear. I smile.
'Dont worry, I'm not like Tristan yet.' I joke. As soon as I say Tristan's name, Brayden lets me out of the hug, and has an angry face on.
'Oh that b-' he starts, but cuts himself off as he looks back at us.
'He is in so much trouble.' He says instead. We hear him storm up the stairs to Tristan's room, and a few seconds later we hear yelling. Brayden could go on for hours at this point, so I signal to the others that we should probably leave. I make sure to close the door loudly so Brayden can hear it, but I don't think he'll notice for a while. We instead fly over to Avery's house, and have dinner there, while talking about what happened. Not while in front of Avery's mum of course. We are all still kind of shook about what happened, but we start to come to terms with it after a while of talking. We are in Avery's room, and we are all sleeping over. Harmony is sitting on the floor while Thyme and Avery are on her bed and I'm sitting at her desk.
'Guys, we could be detectives! I mean, did you see how well we solved that case?' Avery says, her arm around Thyme. We all chuckle.
'Yeah, that would be so fun!'
