I rush over to Harmony and Avery, checking their pulse and their breathing. Both of their pulses are slow, but they are breathing. I let out a sigh of relief before going to check on Tipp, who is back under. I had made such good progress with him, and now it was all lost until he woke up again. I check him, and he's the same as Avery and Harmony. Mr Cutburn watches me do laps, going back and forth between where Avery and Harmony were lying and the line of beds. When I finish, I turn to Mr Cutburn.
'Lili, I think you know what needs to happen now.' He says. I nod and start preparing everything. Mr Cutburn leaves, and a few minutes later, I hear an announcement over the screaming gremlin bell, announcing that the school is going into lockdown. I prepare myself for the rush of panicking students but they don't come. I look out the door, but everyone is already gone. Ok, I guess they put new protocols in place or something. I return to the line of beds. During the rest of that day, two more students wake up in order, and everything basically goes the same way it did with Tipp. After they've settled, I send them home and put all their equipment away. Near the end of the day, someone unexpected enters the Healing classroom.
