I lead Avery and Harmony to the Healing Classroom. As we get to the door, I reach under the mat and shuffle through the several signs that I have.
'I really need to make more, this barely covers anything.' I ponder aloud.
'More?!?' Harmony exclaimed. I finally decide on a sign that reads; "I know more about this than Penstagram does" and put the rest of the signs back under the mat. Then I unlock the door and we walk over to the unconscious students.
'These are the students that have been found unconscious so far. They're numbered in the order in which they were found, and number one woke up yesterday.' I explain. I push up my glasses. When I'm in the Healing classroom, I always feel more confident and serious. I pace over to the student furthest from the door.
'This student was found this morning, and their pulse is very slow.' I walk over to the student closest to the door.
'This student was found earlier this week, and, as I said, they woke up yesterday morning. Their pulse is pretty quick, but slower than yesterday.' I walk back to Avery and Harmony.
'If my calculations are correct, number two should wake up at any time in the next ten minutes. So Mr Cutburn let me stay out of class to monitor him.' I explain.
'I got you guys off class too 'cause you could help me.' I lead them over to my desk in front of the students and open my Scroll. I show them some security footage that was taken yesterday when the girl woke up. It shows her panicking and then going back out like a light.
'I don't understand how this works, and I've seen a lot of weird cases.' I say. Suddenly Student #2 wakes up and is repeating the same phrase. 'Where is it, where is it!'. I rush over with Avery and Harmony on my heels. When I get to the boy, I once again try to calm him down, while also trying to get him to answer some questions.
'Hey calm down, what's your name?' I ask soothingly.
'I-i'm Tipp.' He says quietly. His pulse calms down a bit, and I smile.
'Ok Tipp, can you remember where you were before you came here?' I ask.
'I think I was in the corridor n-next to the Beastkeeping c-classroom.' He stutters. This was definitely better than Student #1's waking.
'Do you remember what happened?' I ask, getting a bit excited. Tipp thinks for a bit.
'No, I d-don't.' He stutters. His pulse quickens.
'Ok, that's fine. Could you take some deep breaths for me please Tipp?' I ask. Tipp starts taking some kind of deep breaths and his pulse slows a bit.
'Good job. Do you need anything? Are you hungry? Thirsty?' I ask. He needs to eat and drink something or he could faint from dehydration or hunger.
'Um, yes I am actually.' I leave Avery and Harmony with Tipp while I go to the cafeteria to grab some Apple Blood and some Hex Mix. When I return, the room is dead silent.
'You guys couldn't have conversed?' I ask. Avery shrugs. I hand Tipp the food and drink, and I swear he just inhaled both of them.
'Oh Titan Tipp, eat slower, you could choke! You just woke up!' I warn him and he laughs. He starts eating slower and once he finishes, his heart rate has slowed immensely, and he seems like a pretty effervescent boy. I check to make sure Tipp's condition is stable, then leave him with the others again.
'Maybe actually try talking to him this time?' I suggest to Avery and Harmony before leaving.
I walk out the door to go find Mr Cutburn. I find him in his office and tell him the news.
'One of the students has woken and is in stable condition Mr Cutburn.' I told him.
'That's great news!' He says. We walk to the Healing classroom to find not only Tipp on the floor unconscious but also Harmony and Avery.
