As I appear in the doorway of the Healing classroom, I finally find exactly who I'm looking for. Lili is standing over one of the unconscious students, and as she sees me, she smiles.
'Hi Thyme, what can I do for you?' She asks.
'Hi do you know where Avery is by any cha-' I stop mid-sentence. As I'm looking around the room, I see Avery lying on a bed in the line of unconscious students. I walk over to her and sit on the end of her bed. I had spent all day looking for her, and now I finally found her, where I knew she would be for the next I don't even know how long. I was finally going to tell her, but now I can't. I start gently sobbing, and Lili comes over and hands me a cup.
'Drink, it'll help you feel better.' She offers. I drink it and I immediately feel calmer.
'Why were you looking for her?' Lili asks. I stop drinking and take a breath.
'I wanted to tell her that I like her. As in, like like her. Please don't tell her though! I want to.' I explain. Lili looks slightly shocked for a moment, then smiles and draws her fingers across her lips in a zipping motion.
'I swear I won't tell her.' She promises. I breathe a sigh of relief and look back over at Avery.
'Can I come back here now and again to come visit her?' I ask without looking away. Lili stays quiet for a few seconds.
'Yes, but you can only visit once a day, cause I have a lot of patients.' She indicates the line of beds.
'Of course! Thank you!' I say. I hug Lili, then leave the school. I'll finally be able to tell her soon.
