Authors Note:

The preview is slightly longer than the usual chapters and is written in third person POV but the story is mostly with Anisha's POV. This preview has a gist of the whole story. Let me know in the comments how you felt about it.

"SURPRIIIISSSSSSEEEEEEE!!" Everyone inside the house shouted coming out from thier hiding place, and on cue they they blasted a balloon full of rose petals near the main door as someone turned the main switch on, luminating the house once again bright.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS???" Kunal shouted as he entered his house seeing heart balloons everywhere scatteredon the floor, the whole house was pitch dark just a few seconds ago.

All 3 of them were disappointed seeing Kunal standing alone in front of them.
And apparently he wasn't surprised but angry at this gesture of theirs.

"Where is Anisha!? You both were supposed to come together tonight right?" Rosie asked Kunal.

Kunal walked past 3 of them inside his house, without bothering to answer Rosie's question, he questioned his bestfriend.

"What are you doing here Lakshit? And what's all this nonsense here?" Kunal motioned towards the whole setup.

Lakshit was taken aback, Kunal would calling him by the name means the situation is really serious, but he couldn't understand the reason for the anger. He replied,

"You didn't answer Rosie's question. Where is Anisha?"

Kunal's tolerance level was going down by each second, but he understood that without answering thier questions he wouldn't get the answer for his questions. He took a deep breath to calm himself and replied,

"I don't know. I haven't met her the whole day."

"WHAT!!!" Rosie gasped after listening Kunal's words, she held her husband's hand."Anisha told me you that both took leave from hospital and had planned to spend the whole day together today!"

"Yes! even I confirmed this by calling both of your hospitals and both of you have taken leave, so where were you the entire day if not with Anisha?" Lakshit questioned his bestfriend again.

Kunal raised his brows confused,   yesterday night before going to bed, he had left a note in the kitchen for Anisha that he would not be at home or at hospital the entire day tomorrow and had asked her not to disturb him by calling or texting. Why did she tell her bestfriend that we were spending the day together?

Just as he was about to say.. a loud sound of balloon blasting was heard from the behind, near the door. And everyone turned to see what happened.

Anisha was standing there tensed like a statue, she was scared that her little secret was out and her bestfriend had got to know that her HAPPY MARRIAGE IMAGE was fake. She had read the note which Kunal had left last night, when she came down to drink some water. She hadn't expected some party but neither did she think that he wouldn't even want to see her that day. And when Rosie had suggested to go for a double date, if the couple had no other plans. Anisha lied to her saying, they had a plan for the whole day and would return home only at night. She didn't want her friend to know that her husband will be nowhere to be found on thier first Valentines together.

But what she hadn't known while lying, is that she would find all 4 of them in the house with all of this special romantic setup. And clearly by the looks of it, this wasn't Kunal's plan but the others. Infact Kunal was fuming seeing her, she couldn't understand why he was angry that too at her, she hadn't done anything. She had never seen him loosing his control over his emotions till now.
