Chapter 42

As soon as they arrives at the church it's already midnight. Not all of the lamps is on, so it create a warm ambience in the church. Perfect for them, to do their marriage.

"I do." She whisper as the priest asking her after he finished asking Matteo.

After the blessing they kiss each other in a very short time. A soft music play in the background as the priest retreat from the room, leaving the lovers alone. They are hugging each other as they dance slowly under the light from the yellow light and the moonlight for the window. They dance for a long time while whispering grateful to God for they marriage.

"I thank God for giving me a lovely wife like you." He whisper as they dance slowly without the music, just following their heart beat as the beat. Leora giggles at his awkwardness to talk to God.

"Thank you Father for a wonderful future You have set on us." She whisper back.

"Leave all of dark past and stepping on the warm future God has set for us." Matteo tries to imitate her words.

"You just say some words full of faith. Not bad husband." Leora says as she look at him in teasing manner.

"Well I am a fast learner. After all I'm sincere with you." He says and touting his forehead with hers.

"We should set a night and morning routine. Whatever busy our days always spare a time for praying together in the morning and have breakfast, while in the night we must there for dinner and have time to read the bible and meditate together." She says in excitement on the days to come as husband and wife.

"After that we always makes love every night and take a bath together." He whisper.

"Stop your pervert thoughts." Leora scolds him and hit him in his arms.

"It's a perfect night for me." Matteo says in sincerity.

"Fine." She whisper with a blushing face.

"I think we need to go back to my friends." Leora says tries to change the atmosphere.

"Why? They can handle their self. It's our night." Matteo says and kiss her neck.

"They surely need me." She insisted and wiggled away from his embrace.

One of Matteo men suddenly come inside and stand in front of the door and nodding at Matteo. Leora who looks at the men, looking at Matteo in confusion..

"What happened?" Leora asks in worry. She noticed the weirdness in both of them.

"We should go now." Matteo says and hold her hands to go out.

"Can you tell me what's going on?" She asks in worry.

"You promised me that, we never lie to each others!" Leora scream in frustration, because Matteo never says anything just drag her around.

"I'll tell you later." It's all he said to her.

As soon as they inside the car, Matteo immediately makes a phone call. Leaving the confused Leora alone with worries in her mind.

Leora knows that there is a big problem to makes Matteo worried like that. She hopes that, that doesn't include her friends. But more importantly she hopes that nothing big really happens to threaten their life or their peacefulness.

"I'll tell you everything, but now you need to help your friends. I'll handle the rest, so just focus on your friends."

"What wrong with them?" She asks in worries.

"Some on them injured, there is some attack at the old villa. But thank fully there aren't life threatening condition around my men and your friends."

"Thanks God." She whispers.
