"Help me please." Leora pleads as she feels that she losing too much blood.
Matteo swiftly carries her and walks away as he leaves the group of people alone.
"Don, ¿Que paso con nuestro acuerdo?" The man from the Spanish mafia asks him. 'What happened to our agreement?'
"Nosotros continuaremos mas tarde." Answer him. 'We will continue later'
Some of his guards follow him behind them as he takes her to his room. As soon as Matteo put her on the bed, he walks away to take some medical aids from his cupboard.
"Are you not calling some doctor here?" Ask Leora in a small voice.
"We don't need one. I can do it alone." He answers.
"I don't believe you. We need some blood supply and serious medical equipment here. I don't think I can hang in much longer." She says as she can feel herself start to lose consciousness.
"Hang in there." As he opens her cupboard full of complete medical equipment, including some blood bags in there.
"Wow. You really got everything in here." She says smiling as he walks to her with some medical equipment.
"Are you sure you can heal me?" She winched in worry as he tries to put some needles into her. She is pretty unsure about his medical knowledge. After all, while she was with him, he always called doctors to heal her everything something bad happened to her.
"Just trust me." He says as he finished putting the needle into her and the blood start to flow into her body.
"Hmmm. Alright, after all, if I really die you'll be the one who loses in here." She says as she can start to feel cold as the blood flow to her.
"I'll clean your wound, it'll be hurt." Matteo continues to dress her wound as she starts to feel dizzy. She even didn't feel that hurt as Matteo start to take the bullet out and stitch the wound.
"What do you do to me?" She says as she starts to feel tired and her body is really heavy.
"I just give you some sedative so you can't really feel any pain. Just sleep Bambina, you'll be fine in my hand." He says as he continues to stitch her wound.
"Yeah, it assures me a lot." She says in sarcasm, making him chuckle lightly.
"You really stronger huh?" He says in an adoration tone while looking at her with tenderness.
"Yup, because you kidnap me and Taylor save me to her base. They train me like crazy, crazier than yours." She tells her as her eyes start to drop.
"I'll train you like crazy start from now." He promises her.
"I won't need that, thank you. I'll sleep now." She says as she can't help it to close her eyes.
"I'll make sure you won't get any hurt again Bambina." Whisper Matteo as he finished dressing her wound.
After finishing cleaning up the medical equipment, Matteo makes sure she's alright once again and gets out to tell all the men from the Sicily Mafia that their Donna has back.
After doing all of that. Matteo goes to the kitchen to prepare a light meal for Leora. Since she left him, he has some spare time after dealing with the Chinese mafia, so he learn some medical knowledge. So all that she needs is him. He can minimize people's contact with Leora too.
He goes back to his room with the cooked meal and finds that she's already awake. She already walks around the room with some Ivy and a blood bag hanging from the handle. She's looking so serene with the sunlight shining on her. In the morning she doesn't have any time to see through the mansion. She's too worried about Taylor and the escaping accident, so when she's awake, she doesn't have time to look around.
She's now looking at the garden through the window. As usual, Matteo will hire the best man in everything. The park is super beautiful, but the maze in the center of it is cool and deadly. It's the first obstacle she must face when coming inside the mansion.
"You're awake," Matteo says as he put the meal on the table.
"Well, thanks to your medical knowledge. But since when did you have some awesome skill in medical?" She asks.
"I'm not as awesome as you think. I can just handle some external wounds and some potions." He says as helps her walk to the sofa.
"Really? I can say that I'm an expert in potions as well." She says proudly as she takes some spoons of the soup.
"Right. Sleeping potion right?" He teases her.
"Well, not just that. I know a lot. I spent most of my time learning about potions beside practice my martial arts. But I won't use any of that, I really don't want to kill people with my hands ever. And I can help people who get some deadly potions with my knowledge." She says as she finished her soup.
"You cooked the best food as usual." She praises him. There is silence in the room after that.
"So where is Taylor." Leora says out of the blue.
"You'll never give up, don't you?" He says as he sighs and leans his back on the sofa.
"Nope. Just take me to her will you." She pleads.
Matteo takes his phone from his pocket and calls someone in Italy. After finishing the conversation on the phone he looks at her while she's already looking at him in anticipation.
"Follow me." He says as he walks through his walk-in closet and gives her some clothes.
"Why do you have my size of clothes in here?" She asks suspiciously.
"Don't tell me you already know that I'll be coming back to you." She exclaimed in surprise.
"You never free from me bambina." He says as he takes some clothes for himself.
"Yeah. But wait. Why did you put my clothes next to you? You don't expect me to come here every time I want to change my clothes do you?"
"You'll sleep here." He says as he starts to loosen up his tie.
"Then where will you sleep?" She asks as she starts to see through the collection of clothes.
"Here." Matteo starts to button-down his shirt.
"What?!" She is shocked and turns around to look at him. As she sees his abs through the shirt she screams and turns around in hurry with an extremely red face.
"You can't just undress in front of me!" She screamed in panic.
"Why? This is all yours." He smirks as he completely undresses his shirt and throws it in front of her.
He walks closer to her and he can hear her mumbling her prayer. He chuckles lightly at how adorable she is. The way she blushes and shriek every time he teases her makes him love to tease her more.
She put both her hands on her face. She can feel that her face is getting warm. The picture of his abs keeps replaying in her mind. Then she remembers when she's get strangled by him accidentally, he hold her body without any shirt. Remembering this makes her blush more.
Suddenly she can feel a warm presence behind her and she can feel his breath in her ears. She shrieks loudly and turns around to push him away. As soon as her hand touches his chest she can feel how hard his muscle are. When she just wants to pull her hand in a hurry, his hand holds her hands in his chest.
"Can you feel my heartbeat?" He whispers into her eyes.
She closes her eyes more tightly and blushes even more. This makes him chuckle loudly and free her hands from his chest.
"I.. I need to change my clothes." She stutters as she runs away from him.
