ISABALLE JUST STARED at Castiel until she was suddenly crying and running into his embrace. She burrowed her head under his, sniffling into his chest. "Oh, my god," she mumbled in shock. "You're alive. You're here and you're fine." She moved her head back and stared up at him with watery eyes. "Cas," she whispered before tugging him closer.

"Is this the angel friend?" A curious voice sounded, pulling the duo apart. They turned to face Beth who's eyes were bright in hope and almost child-like. "Castiel?" She asked, trying to confirm.

Izzy nodded, wiping away her tears. "Yeah. He is." She gripped Castiel's hand, bringing him closer to her small group. "Castiel, this is Daryl, Beth, and Noah."

"Hello," the older man spoke, voice gravely. "I come in peace." He held up a peace sigh, eyeing the small group.

Izzy snorted, shaking her head in amusement. "Im pretty sure they know that, Cas."

Daryl rose a brow at the angel. "This isn't what I imagined they would be like.

Izzy turned to him, smiling wider than she has in a while. "He's the himbo we all love."

"I am not a... a hippo," the man in question mumbled, looking affronted.

"That's not what I—" Izzy shook her head, sighing in exaggeration but also happiness. "Cas," she turned to him, eyes wide and hopeful. "Do you know where Sam and Dean is?"

Castiel sighed, shaking his head. "Sorry, Izzy. We got separated months ago. I've been searching for all three of you since."

Izzy felt her heart break, but she forced a smile on her face. "They're alive. I know it." She tugged on his arm, facing the group as a whole now. "There's more of us. We were going back to them when we got ambushed. Thanks for that, by the way." She smiled at the angel who simply nodded in response. "We should hurry and go to them before anything else happens."

IT TOOK A THE REST of the day and night to get back to the church, the sun was slowly rising, painting everything a beautiful pink and orange color.

By the time they arrived, the church didn't look the same as they had left it. There was a firetruck in front of the doors, and metal and wood poles were thrown about.

"Isabelle!" Jack shouted, tears running down his face as he ran into Izzy's arms. They held on one another tightly, crying into each others shoulders. "Why didn't you say something before leaving?!" He looked up at her, tears in his blue eyes. "We all thought you died!"

"Izzy!" Sophia exclaimed, tears running down her face as she rushed into both Jack and Isabelle.

Izzy reached down with one of her hands so that they were now in a group hug.

"Beth!" Maggie shouted as she came around the corner, spotting her younger sister. She cried out happily, rushing towards the blonde who was already sobbing in relief. "Oh, my god!" The older sister breathed out, wrapping her arms securely around the blonde. "You're alive," she pulled back, grabbing each side of Beth's face, "you're okay." She kissed her forehead and pulled her back into a hug.

Rick, who was holding Judith, narrowed his eyes at the sight of Castiel. "Who's this?" His voice was gruff, and he was already handing his daughter over to Glenn, eyes still on Castiel.

"This is Castiel, my angel friend," Izzy told him, pulling away from Jack and Sophia. "I'm sorry about leaving guys, but Daryl and I found that it was the perfect opportunity to look for Beth. Not only did she find us instead, but she and her friend Noah saved us." That's when everyone noticed Noah in the far back, letting everyone have their reunions.

Jack cried a little more upon seeing Castiel, pulling the celestial being into a tight hug. "I'm glad you're here, dad."

"Dad?!" A few of the group members shouted in surprise.

"He's the one that's always been there for me. He's my dad, not Lucifer," Jack stated, not wanting to let go of the angel."

"Why are we talking about angels and Lucifer?" Gabriel asked, eyes wide, staring at them.

Izzy sighed, turning to the preacher. "Oh, no one told you?" She tilted her head with a grimace on her face. "Angels and demons, heaven and hell are real. Everything in between is, as well. Like werewolves, vampires, and wendigo's. All real."

Gabriel choked on his spit in disbelief and surprise at her words.

Claire, ignoring the spluttering preacher, slowly started walking towards Castiel, chewing on her bottom lip. "Hi."

Castiel smiled widely at her, "Claire," he breathed out, walking towards her with his arms out. The blonde tensed but allowed the angel to pull her into a hug. "I'm glad that you're alright."

Izzy smiled at Rick who shook his head before making his way towards her, pulling her into a hug. "So... what happened here?" She asked after they pulled apart.

Rick sighed, running a hand down his face. "Gabriel had snuck out through the floor, and came back with a herd following him. We had to trap them inside."

"Washington isn't happening," Glenn spoke up, shooting an annoyed look over at Eugene who was standing by the fire truck with his face all bloody and bruised. "Eugene lied. There is no cure."

Izzy pursed her lips, glancing over at the man who was looking down at the ground. "Well," she took a deep breath. She wanted to hold out hope that there could be a cure, but deep down, she knew it wouldn't be possible. Especially if the apocalypse was caused by two very powerful archangels dying. "Where do we go now?"

"I—uh—" Noah began and everyone turned to him quickly. "I want to go home. My uh... my family, my town, we have walls and tones of houses. They will take you all in."

Rick, Izzy, and Daryl shared a look — Cas noted that with narrowed eyes.

"The kid is nice, and he protected Beth and got her out of some place dangerous," Izzy stated with a shrug, smiling at the teenager.

Beth nodded and stepped forward. "He's the reason why I have survived this long," she stated, walking over to Noah, grabbing his hand with a wide smile.

"Beth..." Maggie trailed off, swallowing thickly.

"I'm not a scared kid anymore, Maggie," Beth stated with a frown aimed at her sister. "I had to do things to get out that I'm not proud of. But I'm strong. I'm stronger now and I want to repay Noah for helping me."

Izzy turned to Rick with one eyebrow raised. "What do you say, cowboy?"

The leader hummed to himself, glancing over at everyone in the group, his blue eyes landing on Noah who looked like a frightened puppy. "Where?"

Noah stuttered over his words for a second before speaking, "outside Richmond, Virginia."

Rick nodded, "okay, everyone, gather everything you can. We're going to Virginia!"
