i don't remember not being tired"WHO THE HELL are you!?" Daryl questioned as he approached the guys who all stared in shock, eyes wide.
"Who the hell are you?" One of the guys with long hair spoke up, his eyes hard.
"He's bleeding out, we gotta go back!" Maggie shouted, her voice hoarse and shaky. Izzy glanced away from the men for a second, glancing down at Hershel as Maggie tried to stop the bleeding.
"It had to be done," Izzy spoke, her brown eyes glancing down at Hershel's chopped off leg. "It had to be done," she whispered before turning around to face the guys again. Her posture was stiff and blood was splattered all over her.
Daryl kept his cold, hard gaze on the prisoners, his posture also tense. "Come on out of here. Slow and steady."
And just as ordered, the prisoners came out of their hiding place, slow and steady.
One of the prisoners geatured to Hershel. "What happened to him?"
"He got bit," Izzy grunted out, forcing her shaky, blood covered hands to stop shaking as she kept eye contact with the prisoners.
"Bit?" The prisoner with the long was hair and crazy brown eyes, asked. His eyes darted all around before he brought out a gun, aiming it straight at her.
Everyone else tensed, T-dog jumped to Izzy'a side, his gun raised, but all she did was raise an eyebrow, not all fazed by the fact that a gun was pointed at her.
"Whoa, whoa, easy now," Daryl warned, his lips pulling up into a snarl as he took a step closer to Izzy.
Over the past eight months, Daryl and Izzy have gotten pretty close — she's gotten close to everyone, but if there was a person besides Rick that she had gotten the closest to, it would be Daryl. They were a trio. They all three relied on each other because they were the ones to keep everyone together. Daryl was the one who caught the food, sometimes Izzy joining in, and both Rick and her were leaders, trying to keep everyone together. It was a group project and they all did their parts.
"Nobody needs to get hurt," Daryl said, now standing mostly in front of Izzy who rose both of her eyebrows now.
Daryl wanted to think that the reason he was blocking Izzy's path from the prisoners were because he was trying to protect her from attacking them and causing a bigger mess, but really, he just didn't want the guys to lay even a finger on her.
Glenn suddenly ran past them, going into the room the prisoners were just in before. "You got medical supplies?"
"Wow, where do you think you're going?" The big, tall prisoner went to stop Glenn, but the banging on the door, and the growling distracted everyone.
