Baseball

(Soffia's Pov)

I'm so happy that Alice and Jasper are my partners and caregivers. I love how patient they are with me. Later today, I'm going with them to play baseball with their family, and I'm excited to see how they play. Alice told me Edward is bringing Bella, so that will be fun.

I need to get out of bed. Rolling off my bed, I groan and drag myself to the bathroom to start the shower. As the water heats up, I quickly brush my teeth and take my hair out of the messy bun. Stripping my pajamas off, I get in the shower and let the hot water run over my body.

After awhile of just standing in the water, I start to wash my hair, massaging my scalp softly. After I wash my hair, I wash my body and shave before getting out of the shower. After wrapping a towel around my hair and body, I go into my room. Not caring to get dressed yet, I flop onto my bed and grab my phone.

Soffia: What time are you guys picking me up?

Alice: Around four!

Soffia: Okay, I can't wait to see you and Jasper, I love you! <3

Alice: I love you too, baby.

Smiling at my phone I look at the time it's three now, so I have some time. Putting my phone down, I grab Ben, my stuffed polar bear. "I forgot to tell you, we have a new friend I left him at Alice and Jaspers though, so you'll have to meet him later," I say to him, giggling.

After giving him a kiss, I lay him gently back down on my bed and get up and go over to my clothes, picking out a pair of grey sweatpants and a white crop top. I grab a pair of socks and get dressed. Going over to my shoes, I grab an old black pair and slip them on.

Going into the bathroom, I take my hair out of the towel and brush it, putting my hair into two french braids. After I do my hair, I go back into my room, grab a black baseball cap, and put it on. "Soffia Lunch!" I hear Mom yell from downstairs. Grabbing my black coat and my bag, I put Ben in it and head downstairs.

"Hey mom," I say to her as she enters the kitchen, "Hey Sof," she says, coming over to me and kissing my head. "Here you go," she says, setting a plate in front of me. "Thank you!" I say happily before digging into my food. "How are Alice and Jasper?" She asks well, and she eats her food as well.

"They are good! They are coming to pick me up soon to go play baseball with their family. I'll also probably stay the night there if that's okay," I say, taking a sip of my water. "That sounds fun! Just be careful, and of course, just text me so I know you make it back to theirs safely," she says, smiling at me.

"I'm really happy that you're happy, Soffia I'm so proud of you," mom says, reaching her hand over and grabbing mine, smiling at her. "Thank you, mom," I say softly, giving her hand a squeeze before finishing my lunch. As I'm putting my dishes in the sink, I hear a knock on the door.

Excitedly skipping to the door, I open it and see Alice and Jasper standing there. "Hi!" I say excitedly and bring them both into a hug after I give them each a kiss. "Hi baby," Alice says, hugging me back "Hi bubbles," Jasper says, kissing my head.

"Hi kids," mom says to them as they walk into the living room "Hi Haley," Alice says, bringing her into a hug "How are you, Alice?" my mom asks her as she pulls away. "I'm good. How are you? hows work?" I hear Alice ask as I get bored and look up at Jasper. "Are you good at baseball?" I ask.

"I like to think so," he says, chuckling and tapping my nose. Giggling, I do it back. "We should get going to meet the family on time" Alice says, coming over to us, "Keep her safe, you two. Bye, Sof, I love you. I'll see you tomorrow," mom says, coming over to me and hugging me.
