How it started

Moving in

Five days later

I'm so glad I've had Alice and Jasper and the rest of the family here for me the past couple days I don't think I could've gotten through this alone. My house is now empty I've been staying here until we get everything packed up, and I'll officially be moving into the Cullen household today.

I'm in my room right now packing up because it's the last room that still has things in it. I've kept a lot from my mother's room and the living room, and it's at the Cullens' in the basement for now. I miss my mom so much. I know she would be happy that I have the Cullens to watch over me, but I just wish she was here.

Taking a deep breath, I pack the final thing from my bedroom into the box and tape it shut. Carefully, I pick it up and bring it downstairs, where I sit it down next to the other boxes next to the door. I take a deep breath and look around the room. Just a couple of months ago, we had just moved in.

Smiling softly with tears filling my eyes, "I love you, mom," I whisper softly. "Hey, beautiful," Alice says, coming up to me and setting her hand on my cheek. "Hi," I say softly, leaning into her touch. "Jasper is packing the last of your things into the car do you need a minute before we leave?" She asked, wiping the tear that had rolled down my cheek.

"No, I'm ready to go now," I say softly, taking one last look around the room. "Okay, let's go, baby," Alice says, grabbing my hand and giving it a comfortable squeeze. We walk out of the house, and I look at it once more as a memory of me and my mom standing outside it to take pictures pops into my head.

Smiling softly at the memory, Alice opens the car door for me. I get in and let her shut it before leaning my head against the window and closing my eyes. I haven't slept well these last five days, and I'm exhausted. I just can't turn my brain off. Opening my eyes, I look around the car for my bunny that Rosalie made me.

"Alice, where's my bunny?" I ask softly, looking over at her, "I'm not sure, baby, where did you have it last?" Alice ask looking back at me with a soft look in her eyes making me feel safe, "don't know, maybe at home" I say my voice coming out quiet and smaller.  "Okay, we will look when we get home. We will find it, don't worry," she says, bringing her hand back and setting it on my knee.

"But I want her now," I whine. "I know, baby, but you are going to have to wait a couple more minutes," Alice says, rubbing my knee to comfort me. Pouting, I cross my arms, lean back in my seat, and stare out the window for the rest of the car ride. As we pull up, I quickly unbuckle myself and get out of the car, running to the house, not caring to help get my boxes yet.

I make it inside and see my bunny on the couch. Running over to it, I grab it and hug it tightly to me. "Mine," I say softly as someone comes up behind me and picks me up. Squealing, I realize it's Emmett. "Emmy put me downs," I squeal, wiggling he laughs. "Never shortie, I got you now," he says before tickling my side.

Laughing, I wiggle more, trying to get down. "Emmett put her down," I hear Alice say, coming into the room and setting a box down. "You are a party pooper," he says, setting me down gently. sticking my tongue out at him before quickly running over to Alice and hiding behind her. "This isn't over," Emmett says before leaving.

"Do you want to help Jasper and I bring in the last of the boxes? or do you want to stay here?" Alice asked me tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear. "Can I stay in here, please?" I ask, looking up at her, "Yes you can, baby, after we finish Jasper and I have something to show you," she says softly before leading me to the couch.

"Really, what is it?" I ask, taking a seat on the couch. "You'll see in a little bit, baby," she says before kissing my head and going back to finish bringing stuff inside. I grab the remote and turn the television onto Friends and bring my bunny to my chest as I watch the show. "Hey there, little bunny," I hear Rosalie say, coming over to the couch.
