Naruto POV-

"Mom, Dad, Kurama, this is Sasuke."
They all looked at him for a moment. It didn't take my mother long to realize the state he was in. She gave me a glance and I confirmed it with a none. Putting on a soft smile she turned back to Sasuke.

"Well, welcome to our home darling!"
She stepped forward, reaching out to hug him. He flinched at her touch and she paused, stepping back again.
"You look tired, and hungry!"
She declared.
"Would you like for my husband to make you some dinner?"
She gestured towards dad, who gave a smile.
"He's a wonderful cook."
There was a long pause as we waited for a response, of any kind, from Sasuke. He nervously looked around, before taking a few small steps closer to me. As if attempting to hide in my shadow. Mom looked up at me, worry coating her face.

My eyes darted from her to Sasuke.
"I-I think we're just really tired. I know I am! I'm gonna go and get him settled."
I put my arm around Sasuke, giving my mom a knowing nod.

"Alright, well, Naruto you know where everything is. Feel free to come get any of us if you need anything darling."
She tried to reach out to Sasuke again but he took another step back. If I didn't know any better I would be angry at him for acting like this to my mom, who was just trying to help! But this is Sasuke. He's been through so much, today especially. He just needs a break! And I can understand that.

"Okay!"
My mom tried to put on a convincing smile but I could tell, deep down she was a little hurt. I lead Sasuke around them and started up the stairs. I wasted no time in taking him straight to my room. After we were there I closed and locked the door.

"Sasuke, are you-"
I asked as I turned around, but before I could finish he hugged me. Burying his face in my chest he cried, pouring out all his sorrows. I picked him up, taking him over to one of the small couches I had in my room, and sat down with him. Allowing him to cry into me as long as he liked. He squeezed me tight, loud sobs filling the room.
"Alright, alright,"
I gently patted his back.
"Come on now, look at me."
I said, trying to pull him up but he refused to let go. Only sobbing louder.
"Sasuke please look at me."
I pleaded. He frantically shook his head.

"Please~"
He sobbed out.
"Please~ j-just hold me."

"Alright."
I pulled him into my lap, holding him close.

He cried and cried for what felt like hours. His eyes becoming red and puffy, his lips drying out. He was truly a mess in my lap, and this time I didn't know how to help him. After his sobs had reduced to nothing but a sniffle or two I heard a knock on my door. Looking down I saw that Sasuke was fast asleep. So I gently pushed him off, laying him down on the couch, and went to the door. As I opened it a was met with Kurama, who looked worried.
"Hey"
I groaned.

"Hey, could you come down and talk with us for a minute?"
By 'us' I knew he meant mom, dad, and him. Sighing I gave a glance back to Sasuke, to make sure he was indeed still asleep. Seeing that he was I nodded. Stepping out I closed the door behind me as quietly as I could and followed Kurama down stairs. As I walked into the living room I could see everyone there.

"Hey"
I sighed walking over to the kitchen. I thought that while we talked I could make Sasuke something to eat.

"Naruto, darling, is that boy alright? He looked ill!"
Mom asked as she got up and came around the couch. I stopped what I was doing, dropping my head into my hands, and rubbing the strain vigorously from my eyes.

"Nope!"
I blurted out.
"No he uh~ haha, he is not okay"
I didn't mean to laugh but this whole situation was ridiculous. To think that one man with only a few words could send the love of my life spiraling into such a state. And I can't do anything but sit there and watch him sob.
A soft hand rested on my shoulder. I looked up at my mom as she smiled at me.
