[A/N- moral of the story the Uzumaki-Namikaze house is a castle 🥳]
"I'm heading out!"
Shisui yelled as he threw on his coat."So early?"
Kurama questioned over his shoulder."Dude it's almost six in the evening!"
The red head stalled for a moment before it clicked in his head that it actually was almost six in the evening."Whatever!"
He swatted the thought away as he turned back to his computer."Your leaving?"
A voice crooked from the bottom of the stairs. Shisui turned to his little brother with a soft smile."Give me your phone!"
He said, holding out his hand as he approached Sasuke. The boy did as told and gave it to him. Shisui put his number in the phone and then gave it back.
"Call me if you need anything, or if you just want to talk!"
He smiled. Sasuke tried to smile back but it was faulty and weak. Shisui took notice, pulling him into a tight huge.
"I'll see you again soon!"
With a final smiled he turned and left, closing the door behind him. Sasuke still stood at the stairs, looking at the door with a numb expression. After a long, long, moment of nothing except Kurama's typing he paused, leaning over his shoulder to see the raven still standing there."He'll be back!"
He tried to reassure the boy. Sasuke only gave an absent nod before turning and going back up the stairs. He rushed to Itachi's room. Now that Shisui was gone he needed to see his Onii-San! He needed to cry in the arms of someone that made him feel safe! As he knocked he heard footsteps almost skip to the door. Itachi cracked it open enough for him to see who was there but the minute he saw Sasuke he swung it open."Hello Otouto!"
He sang, a smile on his lips. Sasuke's heart ached. Again he was torn between telling his brother, crying his eyes out and finally relieving the pain. Or keeping his mouth shut, keeping all his tears locked away so his brother could remain happy and calm. Itachi had already seen his scars, he saw how much it hurt Itachi to see him in pain. So he would just keep it to himself. It was his problem! He would deal with it! There was no need to throw it onto his brothers for no good reason! So he smiled, hiding all the pain behind his eyes.
"Hello Onii-San! I know your probably tired and want to rest, but I wanted to check in on you!""Oh no! Come in please!"
Itachi said, stepping aside.
"I've been severely deprived of social interaction for so long, I feel as if I'm being pampered!"Sasuke giggled slightly at the statement as he walked in. He strolled over to the bed and sat down, his older brother following suit.
"Are you bored when your alone in here?"
The younger asked. Itachi nodded."Yes, I find myself with a lack of activity's in this singular room. There's nothing much to do besides watch TV and read bland magazines. Quite boring indeed."
"Would you like to walk around the house?"
Itachi paused to think about Sasuke's question."...maybe in a few moments."
He smiled."I see"
There was a moment of silence."Sasuke, are you bored?"
The young raven almost scoffed.
"Goodness no! Me, Kurama, and Naruto have kept ourselves quiet busy as of late."
Naruto
The name echoed through his mind, eating away at the emptiness in his chest."Yes~ Kurama~"
Itachi looked down at his hands his voice trailing off, as did his thoughts. Sasuke glanced at his brother. Remembering the conversation he had overheard this morning."You love him, don't you?"
"...I~ don't know"
"What do you mean? The two of have~... been together and he obviously is in love with you!"
