Turning the corner,
The place where we once were,
The road we once walked in the past, Shoulder to shoulder,
And your back full of heroism,
How dreadful and cruel time can be,
Only I can know,
I'm listening to your music,
Through your soul we were closer,
You walk faster, I try to catch up,
We play tag,
And I'm always the chaser.
Retracing the path of the sidewalk is never easy,
It's easy to get stuck in the past,
And never return.
I can never understand you,
But I want you to know me.
"Sin! Sin! Forgive me!"
We separate from here,
Longing but restraining,
Touching the walls of the sidewalk,
Retracing the past that once paralleled each other.
