IT HAS BEEN SAID THROUGHOUT the realms that if you reached the peak of Drogon's highest mountain, you can see where the sun and moon are in the same room. Celestine sat from the back of her dragon, watching the sky.
It was true, you could see the sun and moon but you could also see the stars, and how they shine for every soul of the realm that had found peace in the afterlife.
Celestine liked to come here in times of need. It made her feel nice, knowing that her ancestors, her mother and father, were up there watching her. They were watching their wishes being fulfilled.
The girl petted the side of Aurora's neck, telling the dragon, "Gūrogon issa lenton." (Take me home)
The dragon stretched out her wings, revealing the beautiful golden scales and drifted back down to the castle. Aurora was no ordinary dragon, she was born since the realm was created. The dragon was the biggest dragon that have lived, because of how long she had lived.
Celestine felt the wind tangle her long white hair and could hear the whistle of the wind in her ears. Her purple eyes watch their descent back to the castle, seeing what used to be a small circle for the peak of the mountain turned to her castle.
Aurora roared aloud, announcing their return to Drogon. The dragon flew down the open birch, leaning herself down so that her rider could get her feet back on the ground.
Celestine turns to her dragon. "Kirimvose, issa raqiros." (Thank you, my friend)
Aurora flies back out and into the sky, becoming out of the young queen's sight. Celestine walked into the castle, two guards on each end of her. To anyone that knew nothing of Drogon, this would look like a soldier girl with her men beside her, but the reality of it being a queen with her guards.
As they guided her to her chambers, Princess Sorine was sitting at her table side, reading a book. There were several maid hands to help the girl at any moment. Queen Celestine stood confused to see her cousin in her chambers, and she was clearly too engraved to the book to even notice her presence.
"So," Celestine spoke up loudly, earning the attention of the princess, "what do I owe you the pleasure?"
Princess Sorine stood up and out of her chair. Sorine shared the same color of white hair and purple eyes. She had curly hair that was always tied in a bun or braid and stood taller than her older cousin. She always wore her father's color green and brown.
"You went out flying again," Sorine says, slamming her book shut.
The girl gestured to her armored get-up. "How could you tell?"
