The students were ordered to sit the first few rows so they could walk quickly towards the stage. Naturally the students sat with their respective groups.
"Alright before we begin, it's time to explain the rules of this competition, the rules are very simple. We're dividing you groups into a one and one style tournament you boys and girls are dance the respective song you have requested. Once the first group finishes, the second group may step forward while the former stays behind on the backstage until they finish. The adults right here are going to evaluate based on how well you perform. The one scores higher may advance. In essences its much like a survival show so you better you have all prepared yourselves!" Mun explained the rules showing a diagram of how the competition will be displayed.
JYP and the staff congratulated Mun as he sat down.
"That was very impressive explaining Mun-ssi" JYP complimented.
"When you're an idol for ten plus years these things become naturally, Hyori-ssi can attest to it" Mun chuckled.
"Seems like a simple enough instruction, but I hope you know what you're doing Mun-ssi." Yang Hyunsik pointed out.
"It's a managable rule nonetheless I see the lessons that I have taught you didn't go to waste Mun-ssi." Lee Sooman shrugged. Mun couldn't tell if it was a jab or not, but he'll let that one slide, for now. He set out an assortment cards that he gave to the judges.
"This is it guys who's is going to be the first to perform!?" Haseul said excitedly sitting next to Nayoung.
"Surely it's going to be my group because I am clearly the most qualified." Jisoo scoffed.
"Get over yourself unnie you think you're the only talented one here!? I have trained a year longer than you miss actress!!" Miyeon spat out.
"A year long and you have so little improvement?" Jisoo laughed.
"THAT'S IT!! I'M SO-" Miyeon attempted to fight Jisoo before she was quickly back by Jennie.
"Sit back down Miyeon-ah you're not helping yourself!! And unnie please stop provoking her I don't want YG-nim to get mad at us!" Jennie scolded.
"You should tell that poser over there who can't keep her mouth shut." Jisoo said with an evil smirk looking at Miyeon's livid face.
"I hope your students are finished talking because we're about to begin the draw." Hyori spoke from the mic as everyone stared at them.
"I apologize for the inconvenience Hyori-ssi it's clear to me that I have been going to too easy on my trainees. I'll be sure to have a talk after the event is over." YG looked at his trainees.
Suddenly Jennie, Euna, Miyeon, and Lalisa were looking at her, furious that they've gotten in trouble. Jisoo realizing what she done simply sighed and cross her arms and legs as she impatiently watched the competition.
"Awkward..." Jooheon whispered to Bobby.
"That was uncalled for Jisoo-ah." Mijoo internally sighed at her coworker.
"They definitely need to work on the manner department." Taeyeon said in disapproval.
Nam turned around and saw Changmin and Yunho sitting down next to them.
"Mianhe for arriving late. Traffic took longer than we expected! Did we miss anything Eric-ah?" Changmin said excitedly.
"Frankly not much, but at the rate we're going we'll see more than just a match." Nam pointed at Jisoo who had a scowl on her face.
"They're kids what do you expect? Brats will always be brats, you remember how Kibum and Minho acted?" Yunho said.
"And I had to be the one to break those fights. With the SM boys wrecking havoc, I don't know how much headache I can take." Nam yawned.
