Weekend Shenanigans

Friday Morning

It was finally the end of the first week since school has started. Feeling chipper than usual, Eric woke up feeling giddy folding his clothes and blankets neatly.

"There we go all neat and organized" Eric smiled at the results.

He heard Jiwon knock on the door.

"Are you done oppa mom is cooking breakfast."

"I'll be there in a minute" he answered while putting his blazer.

"I wonder what I'll look like once I debut? will I be more fit?" Eric observed in the mirror.

"I definitely need to get myself a haircut. Didn't notice it growing too long" he said observing his hair which almost looked like Jungkook's bowl cut.

"I see why they confuse us as brothers imagine what Jiwon would think" he laughed before heading down the stairs. He could smell the aroma of the delicious meal in front just waiting to be consumed.

"You're in chippy mood guess you can't resist the smell of food" Siyeon laughed it off. The meal in question was called Dak Gomtang (Chicken Soup) think cut pieced of chicken and freshly chopped green onions served with kimchi, a smaller miso soup, and warm steamed rice.

"THIS IS AMAZING!!" Soeun said taking her first sip.

"Thank God is finally the weekend! It's been such a long week!" Jiwon said genuinely happy.

"You sound really eager for it" Eric chuckled.

"Oppa, you have NO idea!" Jiwon said with an exasperated sigh. Eric noticed her usual pigtails were now gone.

"You took off your pigtails?" Eric asked.

Jiwon blinked before smiling. " You noticed oppa I'm just tired of wearing the same hairstyle. What do you think I look cute?" Jiwon said with puppy dog eyes.

"Ya! Unnie you look so stupid making that face" Soeun sneered.

"Just shut it! A kid like you wouldn't understand a woman's beauty!" Jiwon retorted.

"If you that's what it takes to be one then I don't wanna be like you" Soeun retorted.

"Now girls it's too early to be fighting if you be on your best behavior then maybe you can join your brother and his friends tomorrow" Their mother chimed in.

"JINJA EOMMA!?" Jiwon got up from her desk.

"Great unnie is going to like that the whole day." Soeun sighed.

The kids were all looking forward to finally take a walk to the city. Jiwon was especially giddy at the thought of seeing her favorite kookie. School was uneventful without Taeyong harassing him he was able to get through the day peacefully. All the students were excited about the competition some were already forming teams of them mostly within their own agencies like his classmate. Yugyeom who says he going to lead by somebody named Jinyoung who was his senior.

Deciding to hit immediately at the building. They saw Mun's artists standing near the entrance.

"We made it back guys!" Jungkook waved excitedly.

"You're back early boys!" Jieun greeted wearing a purple turtleneck sweater, weather appropriate tights, and heeled boots to give a little height boost.

"What taking Mun oppa so long! It's been ten minutes!" Miyoun snarled impatiently. Typical of a woman like her she wore a casual blue dress and heels for a night out though Eric thought she was a little too dressed for the occasion.
