▸ 𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇 𝐔𝐏 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 a very upset Freddy, the silence between you both was thick with tension. You had been chasing him for what felt like ages, and now, side by side, you could feel the weight of unspoken words hanging in the air.

Freddy had just exploded with feelings towards Billy, emotions that had clearly been bottled up for too long.

You understood his pain, even if your experiences weren't the same. Freddy always seemed to carry more on his shoulders, heavier burdens that weighed him down more than you could imagine.

As you walked together, your hands brushed ever so slightly, a delicate touch that sent a flush of heat to your face.

The blush refused to fade, lingering there as your thoughts raced, unsure of how to break the silence or comfort him.

Then, seemingly out of nowhere, Freddy found the courage you knew he had deep inside. His hand reached for yours, fingers intertwining with yours as if it was the most natural thing in the world.

The grip was firm, almost like he was holding onto you for support, for reassurance.

A soft smile crept onto both of your faces, the simple act of holding hands making things feel a little lighter. For him, it was a small comfort, a silent understanding that you were there for him.

Yet, despite this moment, there was something nagging at the back of your mind, a sense of unease, a feeling like someone or something was missing.

Your thoughts drifted back to earlier, to that strange sensation of being watched when you were chasing after Freddy. It couldn't have been him—you had been behind him the entire time.

Then your mind settled on Billy. Could it have been him?

As if the universe had heard your thoughts, a sudden explosion shattered the quiet. The loud boom echoed through the street, followed by the sound of glass crashing to the ground and the distant screams of panicked people.

You and Freddy whipped around, hearts racing, and saw a blur of red streaking through the sky, just above your heads.

"Billy?!" Freddy's voice cracked with fear as he called out, and sure enough, the figure descended quickly.

It was Billy, his face scrunched in fear and bleeding.

His expression was frantic, and behind him, you noticed the new gaping hole in a nearby building, as if something—or someone—had been violently thrown through it.
