"I'm glad he's okay now, at least as okay as he could be" Emma broke the silence of the awkward elevator ride

"Yeah, I was worried for a moment," Tom said.
"Yeah, me too" Emma's sentence was cut short when the elevator stopped by the elevator's Ding at the fifth floor floor "Did we press the wrong floor?" She scoffed.

"Tom? What are you doing here?" A doctor asked. His hair was long yet steady. Silver stripes of hair came out of his scalp like the final touches of a masterpiece, for a man who seemed to be in his early fifties, he was in great shape.
"Doctor Taylor! What... I thought you would be on the second floor, not here." Tom recognized the doctor standing Infront of the elevator.

"This is Emma," Tom said awkwardly.

"Hello," he said with a warm smile.

"Hey." She smiled back.

"Tom I've been doctor asked. meaning to call you, can we talk?" The doctor asked
"Uh... sure," Tom said. "Meet you upstairs." Tom turned back to Emma before he left the elevator.
She watched Tom walk with Doctor Taylor as the elevator doors closed shut.

Emma walked around the seventh floor until she finally found Andrew's room. She sat on one of the chairs outside. She watched the nurses come and go into his room, they either checked on his vitals or drew blood for tests.
Although she was supposed to stay alone there for a few minutes; She stayed up there alone for thirty minutes, none of them showed up.

"Where are they?" She wondered aloud. Emma pulled out her phone and hoped to reach any of them. Funny enough they're all in the same place yet not together. She saw she had three notifications from Markus

Markus: The police are questioning us downstairs.
Markus: And Lena is still in pretty bad shape, I guess this brought back a lot of memories.
Markus: let us know if there are any updates, hopefully we won't be stuck here for long.

All these messages were sent twenty minutes ago.

Emma went to Tom's chat after she sent Markus that text, only to see Tom was online.

Emma: Where are you?

Tom: Sorry, got caught up with something with the doc, omw now.

Emma: You good?
Tom: Yeah, I'm fine, see you in a minute.

Emma closed her phone and put it back in her pocket. She knew something was wrong with Tom. After all, a lifetime of friendship lets you know when something is wrong, even if it's through text.

After about Ten minutes Tom finally came back to the seventh floor, and the way he walked alone spoke volumes to Emma.

"What on earth took you so long?" Emma asked.

"Life," Tom replied sarcastically.

"No, really what happened, are you ok?" Emma asked even though she knew full well something was wrong.

"Yeah... I am fine" Tom said "Ok... One, I am your best friend I know when you're lying," Emma said, "Two, nobody says "I am fine" and actually mean it, people use it as a mask to put on when they are dying inside."
Emma looked at Tom's eyes, only to be met by absolute silence.

"Now tell me, what is really going on?" Emma asked again.

"I am just worried... about Andrew," Tom said.

"Oh REALLY." She scoffed.
"I didn't know you liked Andrew this much," She paused, "At least not enough for you to literally cry until your eyes turn this red."

Tom tried to hide his teary eyes from Emma, however, she was too stubborn to let it go. As she tried to see what's wrong with Tom a nurse passed by, this one nurse stood out for some reason, blonde hair tied in a bun. casual burgundy scrubs, but none of that was why she stood out, it was her skin... it was pale, too pale, dragged to hell and back kind of pale.

That nurse caught Emma's attention with simply one word that sent shivers down Emma's spine. "Ten," the nurse whispered as she walked through the hall
"Emma, just please drop it," Tom begged.

"Shut up," Emma said.

"What?" Tom said, confused by her reaction.

"That nurse, she said Ten." Emma looked at Tom, flustered with fear.

Tom looked at the nurse, again, at first nothing stood out to him until he noticed her hand, pale... too pale. Tom and Emma exchanged one look at each other, both thought the same thing, they both knew exactly what that meant. However, by the time they looked back at her she had her hand on the door knob. She looked at them with a wide mischievous grin and said "Nine."

She went in the room and slammed at shut before Tom or Emma got a chance to stop her. Tom tried to kick the door open, but nothing worked. They could see she was mouthing the numbers through the window. That's when Emma noticed the reflection of the fire extinguisher behind her.

"Tom!" She yelled out as she grabbed it and gave it to him. "Get out of the way." He took the fire extinguisher and slammed the door with it until it finally swung open.

"One." The nurse had Andrew's head resting on her lap. She had the scissors in one hand, and Andrew's head pulled off the pillows in the other.

"Too late." She grinned. Tom rushed towards her in a hel pless attempt to stop her from murdering Andrew, however he was indeed too late. By the time he pushed her hand away she had already plunged the scissors into Andrew's neck. All Tom did at that moment was cause her to drop the scissors as she took them out of Andrew's neck. That's when he remembered.

If the other players manage to make the demon drop the weapon, the demon has to leave the person he's in control of, Of course, after setting the possessed person's soul on fire, eventually leading to the pers on, or entity, burning up completely.

Those words rushed through Tom's head as he saw the nurse slowly walk backwards. She was baffled by what she saw. Blood gushed out of Andrew's neck, machines beeped, her scrubs drenched in blood, his blood.

Tom ran and tried to block the blood coming out of Andrew's neck with his bare hands. She heard him mutter something, but the shock was too much for her to know what it was.

She breathed heavily as the room was suddenly hot, too hot. She removed sweat off her forehead and only to notice her fingertips released smoke.

Her heavy breaths turned to panicked screams when her skin caught fire. Emma looked at the fire extinguisher on the floor. She grabbed it and immediately started putting out the lady who went up in flames.

She kept using the extinguisher until the screams stopped. Emma looked around the chaos that was that room, Andrew's blood pooled on the floor. a halfburned woman crawled up in a ball on the floor, Tom covered in blood head to toe, on his knees next to An drew's corpse.

Emma dropped the fire extinguisher and fell to her knees as well, too afraid to move. Hospital staff rushed through the room, met by chaos they let both Tom and Emma out of the room as they tried to help whoever they could.

Emma and Tom sat outside, both far too stunned, unable to process the fact that one of their friends was gone with the wind.
