Luffy's One and Only

Part 8

"Lu-Kun," Yuna said. She was amused, looking at the whirlpool.

"Yeah?" He responded. Currently unaware and curious about what his crush had to say.

"There's a whirlpool over there." She pointed, not worried in the slightest.

"Oh, okay." Luffy smiled, opening the barrel and crawling in, dragging Yuna along.

Luffys back was against the barrel, his legs curled up, Yuna sitting in his lap (basically his stomach), she used his legs as a backrest, and her hands rested on his shoulders as she stared at him with a small smile.

"Are you comfy?" She asked, moving slightly to adjust herself, causing a deep blush on his face.

His hands grabbed her hips to stop her from moving, and taking a deep breath he responded, "Yeah, I'm comfy, just don't move too much."

Blushing, she nodded and stopped moving around. They had never really been in this position before. They had always cuddled while lying down or, when her back was against something, she had never sat in Luffy's lap. "Is this okay? I'm not making you uncomfortable, right?"

Luffy huffed as she had never made him uncomfortable, ever. Yuna should know that by now. Pouting: Luffy finally replied, "Stop that; you know you never make me uncomfortable." He bonked her on the head with indignation.

"Itaiii," Yuna wined, rubbing her head as moved again, just to bother him in response.

"Stop that," Luffy demanded. This was a new feeling he had never experienced before, but it didn't bother him too much.

They continued to bicker until Luffy fell asleep, Yuna following, both of them were exhausted and hungry as they hadn't eaten for a long time.

-Time Skip to Alvidas-

Luffy woke up first, admiring her sleeping form for a while before deciding to move, and gently, he picked her up and broke the barrel. Luffy was surrounded by people and asked, "You got any food?"

A pink-haired boy looked horrified, a coward. Luffy didn't like that but let it go since he led them to storage space. After Luffy had beaten the pirates around him, the boy decided to show him out of fear for his life. Yuna was still asleep in his arms.

When they had gotten to the food, Luffy put Yuna against a crate, setting her down gently as he started opening the boxes. Luffy finally found ones filled with oranges, and he woke her up.

"Hmm, what?" Yuna hummed, leaning against the future pirate king.

"We found food," Luffy whispered, playing with her hair.

"Food? FOOD!" Yuna shouted, awake, and instantly grabbed some, taking off the peel of the orange before eating it. Luffy laughed at her reaction, eating his peels and all.

"Who are you?" Yuna mumbled, food in her mouth as she stared at the pink-haired boy.

"I-i'm K-Koby," The boy shivered at her stare.

"Why are you shivering? You cold or something?" She asked, leaning against her Lu-Kun.

"N-no, j-j-just freaked out."

"So, you're a coward?" Yuna blanched, giving Koby the side-eye.

"We don't like cowards," Luffy said, wrapping an arm around Yuna, and glaring at him.

Koby let out a high-pitched 'eep', scared out of his mind.

"Anyways, I'm Monkey D. Luffy, and I'm going to be the pirate king," Luffy stated proudly, holding his hat and a giant grin on his face.

"I'm Yuna Key, and I'm going to be the pirate queen," Yuna smirked, grabbing Luffys waist, and pulling him closer.

"Shihsishishishi!" Luffy laughed, ignoring the butterflies in his stomach.

Koby stared at the two in awe, noticing how they held each other, and assumed they were dating but didn't ask. "I want to be a marine," Kolby responded, not stuttering for the first time. It seemed being around this couple gave him courage.

"A marine, but you're too much of a coward," Luffy stated, blankly staring at him. Yuna giggled quietly.

"Don't be too mean," She laughed before nodding in agreement. "I can't say you're wrong. Koby would have to get much more confident if you want to achieve your dream," Yuna bluntly stated, completely agreeing with Luffy.

"Why are you on a pirate ship if you want to be a marine?" Luffy asked, eating another orange.

"I got captured," Koby responded, "The Lady Alvida captured me after I got on her ship by mistake."

"That sucks," Yuna hummed, tapping her fingers against her chin.

Their conversation was cut short when a fat lady fell through the ceiling, landing in between them. Yuna was surprised she didn't fall through the bottom. "Who's the most beautiful in all the seas!" The hag demanded, pointing her club at the trio.

"Who's the fat lady?" Luffy asked Koby ignoring the women. Yuna chuckled, patting Luffy on the side, her hand still around his waist.

"T-that's A-Alvida," Koby whimpered, hiding behind the 'couple'.

Alvida screamed in anger at Luffys insult and started attacking them. Yuna decided it wasn't a good idea to fight down here, and tossed her upstairs with her devil fruit and flew them upstairs after her. "That's so cool!" Koby praised stars in his eyes, "How'd you do that?"

"I ate the Kaze-Kaze no mi," Yuna answered, patting the boy's head. "I can control the wind I haven't mastered it yet, though," Koby was astonished but scared at the same time as these two were monsters.

"Shishishishishi!" Luffy laughed, attacking the people surrounding them with his Gum-gum whip. Yuna smiled, glad her Luffy was happy.

"I said, who's the most beautiful in all the seas!" Alvida screams, smashing her club into the ground as she tries to attack them.

"If anyone is, it's Yu-Chan," Luffy said, giving said girl a kiss on the cheek before continuing to fight. Yuna blushed a bright red but continued to fight alongside her captain.

Koby suddenly felt courage flow through his veins and screamed at Alvida, "It's not you, you ugly, smelly, fucking wench!" Both Luffy and Yuna were surprised at his sudden outburst but gave each other a look as if they would help him make his dreams come true.

"Shishishishishi! Tell her, Koby!" Luffy laughed, smashing another pirate's face in, laughing continuously with joy.

"AHHHH!" Alvida screams, trying to hit them.

Luffy had enough of her and bazooka her off the ship, noticing a marine vessel headed toward them. "Well, we got to go!" Luffy said, grabbing Yuna and jumping on a little boat. "Go to the marine ship and become one," He stated to Koby, expecting it to be easy.

"I can't, they'd never let me join!" Koby said, hopping on the boat with them, and they sailed away.

"So, is it just you two?" Koby asked, tilting his head curiously. Yuna thought he was extremely adorable and grabbed him, pulling him into her chest. Luffy pouted as those were his boobs.

"Yeah, for right now," Luffy said, looking away in despair. "We're building our crew," He hummed.

"Hey, have you guys heard of Roronoa Zoro?" Koby asked, his voice muffled. Yuna let him go.

"No, what about him?"

"He's a pirate hunter," Koby said, rubbing the back of his neck.
